Edlothia Rhasslariel (also known as 'Loth') was born on Year 3 BCGT, Day 315 to his father, Rhasslar, who was falsely accused of being a traitor and publicly executed by the local authorities on Sirenum Scopuli. Knowing that nightmares would torment the young Loth should she grow up on her homeworld, her mother - a Diathim - sent her only daughter to a child-loving cousin (on the father’s side) – Gisela. They ran away from Sirenum Scopuli to Argai, where the unfortunate girl could be protected from the past, and raised in safety. There, she encountered Gunnar Starfall. Loth spent several years studying under the tutelage of Gunnar, practicing as an Intern in Athakam MedTech. She was carefully taught the ways of Medicine by the direction of her late father - through instructions he left behind, that Gunnar received from Loth's mother, and honored. By the age of seventeen (17), Loth was presented with a ship, and equipment - her father's legacy - the Calaine, a Sprint-class Rescue Craft. A team of troops were assigned to accompany her by Gunnar, to protect and assist her in her future endeavors. On her first trip with the Calaine, the ship suffered an accident, and crashed in the vast Northern Desert of Argai. Looking for help, tragically, her party encountered a band of Sand Panthers, killing two out of the three guards accompanying her at the time. Edlothia was trying to protect her last companion, when she got bitten and clawed terribly by the enraged Panthers, causing a permanent trauma on her back. Loth was saved, and the Calaine with the rest of the crew escaped. The ship ascended to orbit, however, before landing at the orbital port above Argai, the hyperspace navigation systems activated, revealing the last programmed destination - Zolan I, which was programmed into the ship by Loth's father many years before. With it, she found the first clue that would lead her on a quest to find out who her father really was.

Little Edlothia.

Edlothia was born as mysterious as her biological mother, a Diathim. Little known about what did her father do before facing trial and charges, and ended life tragically. Some information could be sought slightly clear was that her father, Rhasslar, was a Thyferran doctor that had a mission saving soul in Sirenum Scopuli, Iego during the invasion period. Her father fell in love with a kind-hearted Diathim, however, these were against the local rules - that alien races is prohibited to have intimate relationship with a Diathim.

In addition, Rhasslar, with approachable and sympathy attitude would never hesitate treating anyone on sight should he or she badly injured - even if they were considered as an enemy by the local authority. These had made local authorities enraged and issued a warrant arrest on a couple. Knowing that the future was cloudy and dangerous for a little Diathim baby, Edlothia, her mother sent her to Argai with Arwena - a younger sister of Rhasslar, to be met and taken care of by Gunnar Starfall from Athakam MedTech. It seems that Gunnar and a couple knew each other well, nonetheless, it still remains mystery to the girl herself.

Edlothia grew up on Argai under the tutelage of Gunnar and Arwena. She was taught to appreciate the Arts of Healing for the remaining of her unfortunate life. Due to the intelligent nature of Diathim, she quickly grasped some lessons from Gunnar and Arwena. During her time in Argai, Edlothia would never question anything, even for the biological parents. She was understanding, quiet in nature, and up until now she has a laid back attitude. One time, she was frightened when meeting a group of bandits that would force to sending her back to Sirenum Scopuli to be interrogated and of course executed by the local authorities. Nevertheless, she encountered an ugly monster Trandosha with a kind-hearted soul saving her from the trouble - Aerith Fleetfire. There, she befriended with Aerith, even though only for a short time. These incidents had made continuously a little Diathim restless.

By the age of fifteen, she was taught to piloting the light freighter ship by Gunnar. Though she was somewhat scared to fly on her own, she has to survive the harsh reality. Once, she was capable to pilot the freighter ship on her own, Gunnar sent her for a mission to deliver and drop the ordered ship within the timeframe given. Taking almost a week of journey by herself, she had to apply every single thing she learnt to survive in space, though a typical capable Diathim could live and survive freely under the vacuum of space without having to wear a flight mask. Then, she returned to Argai safely and successfully succeeded finishing the assignment quite well. Arwena was proud that Edlothia did not fail her father's expectation on her.

Personality and Traits

Edlothia is a slender, athletic-built Diathim girl with long curly black hair, often coloured dark red and occasionally blonde. She was born with dark hazel eyes. Edlothia is not as tall as the other Diathims and has a skinny figure; though she always managed to keep herself in good shape. After her tragic encounter with the Sand Panthers of the Northern Desert of Argai, Edlothia was left with a badly injured back, and permanent damage to her six bladed wings. Edlothia - like other Diathims - communicates by means of ‘telepathy’ and fluently speaks Galactic Basic with a unique Diathim accent.

In general, Edlothia has a laid-back attitude, and as a strong supporter of conservatism, she seeks to preserve and respect the things as they are. Towards many, she is quiet and distant, often described as unapproachable. Though she maintains neutrality, she despises those she considers disrespectful. Edlothia’s personality changes rapidly whenever she is in love, in the company of a loved one she becomes very cheerful and playful. With those she trusts, her personality is also warm and open.

Since her youth, Edlothia observed and practiced medicinal skills under the supervision of Gunnar Starfall of Athakam MedTech. Other, combat orientated skills are lacking, with the exception of her natural dodge and speed. During most of her life, Edlothia was mainly improving Medical and Science skills to aid in her work; such as Medical Treatment, Computer Operations and Freighter Piloting. In addition, she has been improving her gunnery skills to be able to better protect herself from harm, even though she is capable of dodging almost any type of attack due to the agile nature of her race.
