History

The RFS Haleigh's Comet is a YT-1760 class freighter with a few owner added improvements. This ship has been used by many being across the Galaxy for many years. It first made a name for itself by a Human named Jermoch Stillstander. Jermoch was a deathstick runner for many years. When that did not pay him enough he started to smuggle slaves across the Galaxy. Feeling quite confident in himself he found himself transporting a recently freed slave named Rick Farlander. During this hyper trip they had engaged in some gambling wagers in the game of Sabacc. In losing his hand he also lost his ship to the young Falleen. Rick had decided to be a sport and dropped Jermoch off at a trading station of his choice. The RFS Haleigh’s Comet had a curse that followed her around. Once again she was lost to the high stakes of gambling. Through many years of changing hands the ship was purchased back by an unknown amount by Rick Farlander where the ships remains close to him at all times.
