The great advantage of the Void Spider is its relatively few terrain restrictions. Capable of operating over water and land equally well the Void Spider is an ideal shuttle for almost anyone on any pacified world. Her speed, agility and sturdy hull enable her to escape most threats that could destroy her.
It is a wonder we don't see them in greater numbers than we already do.
It is rumored that Aratech is attempting to design an updated version with better sensors and light armament without giving up the Void Spider's existing advantages as a light military scout vehicle. It is not expected to be ready for at least a decade.
