"Do, or do not. There is no try."
Tengri Lethas, born approximately in year -7 on Geonosis, is the current Chief Executive of the Merr-Sonn Technologies corporation. He is a citizen and recruitment officer of the New Republic as well as governor of over a dozen planets in different systems. His exact date and place of birth is unknown due to struggles between a couple of Geonosian hives in the year of his birth. As all Geonosians his mother is an unknown Queen. There are also no records for an official father. He is a long term member of the New Republic and supports the Galactic Alliance in every aspect. Notable skills are a responsible leadership style, an excellent management of production facilities and good manners in almost every situation.
Life in the Hive

Tengri's earliest days began in the trouble of an excessive and brutal war between three Geonosian hives. While those wars are neither rare or anything special, this conflict is recorded as one of the most outrageous ones in the history of the planet. After the event, it's not possible anymore to tell which hive Tengri belonged to and if his egg was captured or not. Anyhow Tengri was not part of the events but, of course, felt the aftereffects of the war in early years.
As any Geonosian he got a basic education and made a few friends among the others in his class. With his body growing it became more and more obvious that he seems to belong to the aristocrat caste. But due to his unclear origin he never was let in contact with the reigning Geonosians of his hive. Instead he remained with the warrior caste where he got his friends, although he wasn't allowed to fight in the occasional wars because of his appearance. To help his fellows on the battlefield, and to support the hive in an accepted way, he started to design, modify and construct personal weapons. Soon enough his natural dedication in doing this became obvious and his skills grew even further with time. Regardless if his weapons did any notable difference on the battles or not, Tengri's hive was very successful and increased his area and total influence drastically. With this the question, why an aristocrat looking Geonosian has to remain in the warrior caste, was asked more and more often. Although he never asked for joining the caste, nor did he really wanted to do so, he became a real problem for the rulers of the hive.
In one night, in late year 7, he got roughly woken up by members of the aristocrats, cuffed and escorted to the local spaceport. Without any further information he was brought to a waiting shuttle of an unknown type. This shuttle then brought him to a ship, which belonged to the Trade Federation, one of the few organizations who occasionally approach Geonosis.
Cold cold away
As Geonosis is a extremely dry and hot temperated planet, and Geonosians perfectly fit there, they do not fit in the cold environment of spaceships. Given that, Tengri was in a terrible constitution during the first two weeks of his unintended journey. As it seems the contract between his aristocratic "friends" and the unknown spacemen of the Trade Federation does not include any special services it occurred that, even after Tengri regenerated slowly, he didn't have any information about the destination and what he could expect there. At least he wasn't a prisoner at all. He had his cabin, was able to move free in the most areas of the ship and got food in the mess. Of course, whenever he met other people there was no communication at all. As an individual of a race which was rarely seen, or even known, in the galactic stage he was treated with cold distance, and even fear, by the others. So besides his exploration tours through the ship and his appearances in the mess he stayed out of the way of others and waited in his cabin for the things to come.
After about four weeks of travel, was just at the mess eating some food, he followed the talk of some humans at a neighbor table. He got the information, that the ship would reach his destination, a planet named Sluis Van, within a few days. As the talking person noticed the Tengri's attention he directly focused him, and said "It's also your end of the line..." and with a good portion of sarcasm he added "Time to say goodbye, bug." With this information in mind Tengri hasted to his room and called up all available data of said planet from the holocron. After he read the article twice Tengri sunk to the floor, unable to handle what the destination was meant to be...

- Planet: Sluis Van
- System: Sluis
- Sector: Sluis
- Controlled By: New Republic
- Total population: 20,882,550 inhabitants
- Planet type: temperate/breathable
- Description:
- Sluis Van is a planet with a wet temperate climate and breathable atmosphere. There are rolling hills after rolling hills with huge forests. The air is thick and humid, with many wild animals. Rainy storms occur all over the year.
"Cold... wet... jungles and storms..."
Sluis Van wasn't just a destination to get a disagreeable Geonosian out of sight.
Sluis Van wasn't even just a planet for exile.
It was murder on purpose.
