History

Early Life

Alexander was born to two smugglers on the planet of Corellia and is the younger brother of Vladimir Petrakis. Growing up as the sons of smugglers Alexander and Vladimir got to travel much of the galaxy at a young age. During the travels with their parents the brothers got to learn many skills from smuggling past Imperial blockades to using a multitude of weapons. During one of their smuggling trips the Petrakis family had a run in with pirates in the Chommel sector. Prior to the pirates boarding the Petrakis' Yt-1300 Tiberius and Claudia had hid their sons in one of the escape pods on the ship. Tiberius and Claudia tried to hold off the pirates as well as they could but to no avail. During the initial firefight Claudia was shot and killed. Believing that all was lost Tiberius launched the escape pod. From the escape pod Alexander and Vladimir watched their family's YT-1300 be blown up by the pirates. The brothers then charted their way to the Naboo system and landed on the planet of Naboo where they would start their new lives.

Life Before The Industrial Confederacy

Once Alexander turned 18 he enlisted in the Imperial Army believing that a life in the Imperial Military would lead to not only some stability and success. During his time at the Imperial Academy Alexander would grow bored as his instructors treated him and his classmates as if they were children who knew nothing of the galaxy. One day he received a transmission from his brother Vladimir that he had come into contact with Chiss named Azura Mizuko who was a land owner on the planet of Leafar. Azura needed someone to build on her land so she could then sell it. Vladimir had made a deal with her that if him and his brother built up her cities they would get some in return as payment. Upon hearing this Alexander decided that he would leave the Imperial Academy at the dead of night to begin this new business venture with his brother.

The Petrakis Brothers had initial success when they first arrived to the Leafar system but soon afterwards their work would run into a hiccup as the controlling authority, Alliance of Mercenary Consortiums (AMC), on Leafar would arrest their workers thus putting a halt to their construction. After much discussion the brothers had decided that Alexander would handle the diplomatic affairs and contact the leader of the AMC, Max Ameeno Baca. Upon reaching out to Max Alexander had learned that AMC was concerned about the intentions of the Petrakis brothers and whether they were friends or foes. After a long discussion Alexander was able to convince Max that him and his brothers were not there to do harm to AMC but to simply develop a business and bring more people to the planet of Leafar. Upon seeing no threat from the brothers Max would allow the brothers to continue their operations. The brother's venture would prove to be successful as they had made enough credits to start the construction of their production hub in deep space. The Petrakis brothers had initial success with their production venture but was not bringing in the profits they were expecting to make. So to further their production efforts and increase their profit margins the brothers would go on to found The Industrial Confederacy.

The Industrial Confederacy

Sometime in Year 18 Alexander and his brother Vladimir started their new business, The Industrial Confederacy. The Confederacy was founded as a manufacturing company that specialized in ship production specifically the N-1 Starfighter. The Petrakis Brothers had initial success with the new business and decided to expand the faction through recruitment. Through recruitment the Confederacy was able to gain new members such as Oltral Kintross who proved to be a valuable member to the Confederacy. The Brothers took notice of this and promoted Oltral through the ranks rather quickly to make him the third member of the Petrakis Council and make him an honorary member of the Petrakis family. The Industrial Confederacy would enter a period of prosperity through the leadership of Alexander, Oltral, and Vladimir. During this time of prosperity they had to increase their production of the N-1 as new designs were developed and an increase of bandit activity along hyperspace routes caused the increase in sales. They took advantage of this and tripled their profits during this time. With the increase of capital and members Alexander saw an opportunity to further expand their business by taking advantage of the rise in conflicts between the citizens of the galaxy and the bandits plaguing hyperspace routes. In a meeting with Vladimir and Oltral he was able to convince them to approve of the creation of Petrakis Medical.

Petrakis Medical

On the 18th Day of Year 19 (CGT) Alexander had founded Petrakis Medical with the hopes to take advantage of the recent rise in conflict in the galaxy. Alexander quickly went to work in building a city dedicated to the production and development of medical supplies for his new faction. Initially the new medical business was a success as Alexander was receiving a lot of orders within their first few weeks of opening. To keep up with the orders and meet all the deadlines Alexander started hiring more members to join Petrakis Medical. However, that would all come to an end as the conflicts between the citizens of the galaxy and the bandits would calm down. Due to this many of the orders placed with Petrakis Medical were cancelled and no payment received. This would prove to be a problem for Alexander as he had a lot of product already made but no buyers for any of it. During this time the Petrakis Council were discussing whether or not to close the doors on Petrakis Medical and bring Alexander back to the Confederacy. During these talks Alexander would come into contact with a Pau`an named Corey Vildras.

Corey was a representative of The Archduchy of Tolonda a government aligned with the Galactic Alliance at the time. Corey presented an offer to Alexander that intrigued him. The deal was for the Petrakis family to hand over control of Petrakis Medical and all of its assets to the Archduchy and in return Alexander would retain leadership and be given a higher up role in the Archduchy itself. Alexander told Corey that he would have to discuss this deal with his family and took it to the Petrakis Council. During the talks Corey reached back out to Alexander to inform him that they wanted more than just Petrakis Medical. He told Alexander that they were now interested in obtaining the Confederacy. The Petrakis family did not like the idea of giving over the whole company. However, Alexander wanted to be apart of a government and further his power. So the Petrakis Council had come to an agreement where Alexander and Petrakis Medical would go over to the Archduchy with Alexander personally owning all the assets of the faction. At first Corey did not like the idea of this but could not convince the Petrakis Council to budge on their counter offer and accepted the deal.

Shortly after Alexander left The Industrial Confederacy Vladimir and Oltral decided to close the doors as they had grown bored with the faction and no longer had the drive to run it without him. What Alexander had thought would be a good opportunity turned out to be a horrible experience for him. He had expected to be treated as an equal by the leaders of the Archduchy and have full control over the operations of Petrakis Medical known at this time as Oshora Pharmacology but this was not the case. During Alexander's time there Corey had decided to micromanage Alexander and the offer of Lordship never came to be. Alexander also had this sense as if the Archduchy wasn't what it really seemed to be. As if there was something sinister moving in the shadows of the government. But he would ignore this feeling for the most part.

A couple of weeks into the new position Uther and Corey would decide to hire the pirate Joi Belos to toy with Alexander for whatever reason. Joi had convinced one of Alexander's new members to betray him by promising a life of grandeur as a pirate. The traitor head to the Petrakis Deep Space Operations center and would claim to Alexander that she entered one of their stations housing several items the Petrakis Family had kept inside. Alexander immediately informed Vladimir of the breach and asked him to check the security log. According to the logs no one had entered the stations or taken any of the items as Joi had claim. Upon learning this news Alexander had a sense of easy and opened a channel with Joi to try and get the traitor in his custody. They would come to make a deal where Alexander would give Joi 20 million credits upfront and then Joi would turn over the traitor and receive the next 20 million afterwards. After Alexander sent the 20 Million Joi sent him an ironically named escape pod called "Don't Make Deals With Pirates" which Alexander found to be funny and still has till this day. After they had a laugh about this Joi would inform Alexander that she was sent by Uther and Corey to mess with him. Upon hearing this Alexander was furious and took all of his possessions he had put into Oshora and left the faction. He would later message the other members of the Petrakis Council and convince them to reform The Industrial Confederacy.

Reforming The Industrial Confederacy and discovery of the Jedha System

As soon as Alexander reached out to Oltral and Vladimir to rebuild The Industrial Confederacy they quickly jumped on the chance to bring back the company. In no time The Industrial Confederacy was once again a registered company in galactic records. Instead of quickly expanding the company as they did the first time they kept it relatively small and only employ close friends of the Petrakis family. As before the Confederacy would find success in their ship production line and expand it with further with contracts for DCs from a couple government Nats. Vladimir and Oltral would focus on the production of the ships while Alexander would focus on exploration of deep space in search of asteroid fields and hopefully discover a new system in the process.

On 302nd Day of Year 20 (CGT) the Western Reaches sector was discovered which prompted dozens of individuals and organizations to explore the sector for new habitable planets to colonize. One of these explorers was Alexander. In the late hours of the 313th day Alexander arrived in the Jedha system and couldn't believe his eyes. After years of searching for an undiscovered system to claim as the Industrial Confederacy's new home. He immediately contacted his brother Vladimir and informed him of his find. After that he made his way to the largest planet in the system and started to lay his claim to the Planet. Alexander would land on the planet coordinates of 6,4 on Najedha to lay the foundation for the city that would bear his name, Alexandria.
