The system was rediscovered circa Day 101 Year 27 by Pirate Warlord Krodo Rask of the Eyttyrmin Batiiv Pirates. The system became the site of the Battle of Khuiumin (Y27D106 to Y27108), a space battle fought between Members of the Rebellion (styled Kumquat Coalition), Eidolon Carl Warrington and, opposing, the pirates of the Shadow Dominion. For Eyttyrmin Batiiv Pirates and the Shadow Dominion, the defeat in this battle meant the loss of the system. With the arrival of the Hydian Expanse and parts of the Imperial Union, the pirates’ defeat was ultimately sealed by the Truce of Khuiumin and the resulting Blockade of Khuiumin (Y27D108 to Y27133) of the system. In the aftermath of these events, collectively known as War for Khuiumin, the Shadow Dominion member Son-tuul Pride rechristened itself as The Eternal Empire.
