Mon Akira is a Mon Calamari male who was the High Marshal of the Rebel Alliance Starfighter Corps for almost a year. He then became Supreme Commander of the Rebel Alliance circa Year 0. Through his wise actions as leader, Akira stewarded the Rebel Alliance on its long journey to strength and prosperity. He laid the ground work for how the Alliance functions today. When time constraints prevented him from continuing as Supreme Commander, Akira moved over to the Rebel Research Center to oversee the projects of this command. Even in this position Akira continued to help support the new leadership of the Alliance. After his retirement from active service, he was formally inducted into the Hall of Heroes. His last recorded sighting in the galaxy was Year 6 Day 210.
