History

The Vanilla Chinchilla was built on Day 351 of Year 22 by Holowan Conglomerate. The ship served as a Freighter in the service of Dupol Enterprises. During year 23 the Vanilla Chinchilla began its new job as transport for DupoL Enterprises' small unit of Merchants a part of their VCI offshoot. Early in Year 24 She was joined by her sister ship the Vanilla Chinchilla II.

Currently, the ships are set to make its debut at the next swapmeet having been drastically remodelled internally. A pilot/captains cabin was installed on the port side just behind the cockpit and a section of sleeping quarters on the starboard side for the merchants or other guests.

The ship is capable of handling most types of cargo from small trunks to giant vats of liquid. Mainly the ship is fitted out for moving boxes and crates to move to other places. The ship has two storage rooms Aurek and Besh, in which is kept each merchants stock. The ship also has a large open area in front of the cockpit entrance that serves many purposes. It can double up as personnel accommodation, a workshop, not to mention the underfloor compartments in which Lee Weyfel keeps his small stash of more esoteric weaponry. It is also rumoured that Tavion Veir has a Cargo cargo container welded to a wall somewhere that has a DNA coded lock only she can open...

She's neither fast or heavily armed or armoured but she can Haul a decent amount and carry a bunch of people to where they need to go, not in real comfort, but they'll get there alive. Mr Dupol jokingly says it does not look much like a turtle more like a mutant Krykna. Above all the ship has a proven track record and very dependable systems. The ship's engines were also very fuel-efficient having been made to a very high specification.

EV-X22

EV-X22 is an EV-series Supervisor Droid who serves aboard the Vanilla Chinchilla as a liaison to the vendors and burning a swap meet as a liaison and helper to direct the customers.

Draj Uyoc

The ship's pilot and very grumpy to boot. A member of Bram Dupol's staff since nearly the beginning. If not in the cockpit can usually be found asleep somewhere with his feet up on a crate.
