The '''GRA''' is completely neutral, it holds no black lists, accepts all who mean well, and do not do harm to others. Its history dates back to its founders inhabiting positions of a version of the [[Corporate_Sector_Authority_(Years_11-12)|Corporate Sector Authority]] and additional other Governments. Its direct Executives are the [[Counts of Serenno]], a noble house from the planet [[Serenno_(Planet)|Serenno]] in the sector [[D`astan]], just a short hop from The Reach. They learned from the ruins of the old Massassi temples on Yavin 4 and various others on nearby worlds. The Massassi of present would adhere to the primal natures of the former inhabitants and builders of the ruins. When the Confederacy collapsed and the might of the [[Galactic Empire]] rose to replace the Galactic Republic, the planet seceded from all major political affiliations. The [[Counts of Serenno]] (Which replaced the noble houses of old) led by Leto Ketwol utilized this moment of chaos to assume the governorship of the Gordian Reach sector thus aligning the two regions under one vision. The planet [[Torque]] was given the designation as the capital of the Reach, thus shifting attention away from the more well-known system of Yavin whilst Krylon was utilized for its industrial potential.

As a result of its history, the government has formed into a technocracy, an ideological view that the leadership of the Authority is recognized based on their expertise in a given area of responsibility, particularly with regard to scientific or technical knowledge, however this has also expanded into cultural and civil aspects of government life.

The Consul leads the Authority as the Head of State and is supported by a Viceroy who is tasked as the Head of Government. To support this executive the Authority has a council of appointed leaders to help shape the legislative view of the Government. The Gordian Reach Authority is a neutral government of the Gordian Reach and D`astan Sectors. Governed by the Counts of Serenno it can trace its roots back to an early incarnation of the Corporate Sector Authority. The capital of the Authority is the planet Torque.
