Jakk Emernet has been many things in his life so far. Starting out as the son of two relatively well known Corellian parents. Joining CorSec as a junior officer, an anti-slaver, a detective, a traveling swordsman, and student of The Living Force. Now a member of the Ternion Corps, he can be seen as the leading commissioner of the 531st Ranger Battalion of Clone Troopers, as well as helping to organize some of their naval Forces.

Life before Darkness

Jakk Horn Emernet was born in Year -9 Day 177 on the planet of Corellia, in the City of Kor Vella on the planets grid square 9,4 at the galactic standard time of 18:59:34. He was born to his Mother Lisha Denya Emernet, and his father Yaxon Ira Emerent. His mother was a semi-famous director and producer of many holovids, mainly historically based stories and educational documentaries. His father was a well decorated officer of CorSec, however Yaxon Emernet passed away tragically, while Jakk was only 3 years old, in an operation attempting to stop a group of slavers CorSec had found on planet.

As such much of his life he was traveling with his mother on her many holovid shoots that often were done on location. From Shili to Tatooine Jakk visited over three dozen different locations before he reached adulthood. His Mother was very intent on him learning to appreciate all the cultures that they were able to experience, and as such he developed an open and friendly social attitude towards others regardless of differences. As a direct result of this he still holds many friends across the galaxy from his youth and attempts to visit them often.

His mother also took the time to teach him about his family history. He learned that he had a well known grandfather who had fought in the Clone Wars, and though no one knew what had happened to him many believed he was still alive. However, his grandfather was a known Jedi. This made it so he was not likely to be seen in Imperial Union space.

A Leap of Faith and Conviction

At the age of 18 Jakk left home, to make his own way in the universe. He was not content to simply stay on Corellia, his early life had taught him that there was so much more to the Universe. He left with a U-wing gunboat that he had saved and bought for himself, and went to find his own place in the universe with his mothers blessing.

Jakk had many adventures at first, he for a short time joined an Anti-Slaver group that would raid the “cargo” convoys of slaver groups and free their captives. He also made a decent name for himself at many Sabbac tables across the galaxy. He worked as a security consultant for smaller planetary governments and industries. Most notably working for the Royal Court of Naboo on an occasion.

Later, after tragedy had befallen the Anti-slaver group that put them out of operation, Jakk had started freelance work hauling cargo for many governments and corporations. He was particularly drawn to helping the New Republic who's social ideals seamed to line up with his own better than most groups out there. However, after their untimely fall, he was forced to find a new cause to help support.

Freelance job after freelance job left Jakk feeling unaccomplished and depressed for a while. He was sitting in a cantina on Tamra II when his life changed yet again. He met his grandfather, who had been living on Tamra II for many years now even operating his own vehicle repair business out of a small garage. Jakk's grandfather was the one to notice his force abilities. He however only taught him the basics such as how to recognize it, and meditation, and a few other skills. His grandfather insisted that Jakk was meant to be taught more by another. In early Year 21 Jakk's grandfather passed away from natural causes and once again Jakk was into another chapter of his life.

The Searching Swordsman

Jakk had heard of many religious groups teaching about the force, and he went in search of these people. He was taught many things, and he gained some basic skills in the force beyond his grandfathers teachings. However, he never quite found a group that he fully could agree with their views on the force. He did find that many of the religions he encountered seamed to favor melee weapons over blasters... at least the ones that were not completely pacifistic in their teachings. Jakk, surprising even himself, took to the martial art of swords quite quickly. He quickly gained enough skill with a sword length Vibroblade that he often only carried a blaster out of habit.

Jakk took up many adventures such as seeking out ancient force artifacts, stopping groups of bandits on occasion harassing small settlements, and many other adventures that brought him to seek out further training in the ways of the force, but this time he wanted an organization that he could trust by its history.

Eventually in Year 23 Jakk sought out the Jedi Order, which in turn lead to him finding his Jedi Master Vir Calder and finally expanding his abilities in the force greatly and constantly since. He also was able to obtain his own lightsaber, which he now wields as his main weapon. He eventually joined the Altisian Jedi Order which he recently became a Jedi Knight among its members, and has been working with Ternion Corp as well to further their works.

Personal Life

Jakk has a large circle of friends from all walks of life. He has also amassed a small personal wealth, enough to hire many of his friends to come work for him. Jakk often wears attire of a more formal appearance, made with quality fabrics such as silks and fine leathers quite common. However thanks to his upbringing he has never acted as if any of this makes him “higher” or “Better” than even the most poor individuals he has met. He often makes friends and contacts in areas others would consider “Shady” as he takes the time to talk, and more importantly listen, to the people of such places. It also helps that he is quite fond still of Sabbac.

- Jakk has competed in and even placed highly in some small time speeder races. Though he has never won outright... yet.

- Jakk is known to be slightly paranoid after witnessing the fall of the New Republic and has multiple “Safe houses” across the galaxy just in case.

- Jakk's lightsaber has a blade colored purple.

- Jakk is an avid learner of all known lightsaber techniques and forms. He does seam to favor Juyo and Ataru.
