Biography
Early life
Brazi was born in -6 GCT in one of the forest valley cities of Shili. During his childbirth, his mother passed away due to the strain that it put on her. The first few years of Brazi's life were that of a normal Togruta. Learning how to track, how to hunt, how to work with a team, Brazi learned all of the life skills to be a successful huntsman. However, he learned all of those skills at an unusual accelerated pace. The main thing that set him apart was his skill with melee weapons, but more specifically, blades. The trainers noticed his skill and quickly placed him with Togrutas that were seven to eight years older than he was. He was thrown into the pit, a one-on-one training arena, with Togrutas twice his size and twice his age. Whoever he came up against, he defeated, which did not set well with the older members of his training group. Eventually it was time for the first Akul hunt for his training group.
Brazi, with his custom sword, and the group of six of the older Togrutas were finally allowed hunt one of their own akul, with supervision of the more experienced hunters of the clan named Codi Viro, who was Brazi's father. The group set off into one of the vast Turu-grass plains on the planet where akul were known to be. The 7 young hunters were sent ahead while Brazi's father kept an eye on them. After an hour or so of tracking, the group spotted an akul. The group quickly surrounded the beast and started to close in. The akul charged at one of the other members of the group and knocked him back and was about to kill him, when Codi stepped in. Codi told the trainees to grab their fallen fellow hunter and run. The group did and started to run back, when Brazi turned and hid in the turu-grass to watch his father fight the beast.
Codi sat and waited until the akul made his move, and he did not wait long. The akul started charging towards Codi which Codi sidestepped and cut threw one of the tendons on the back leg of the akul. This sent the akul into a rage, who turned around and lunged at Codi. The akul pinned Codi's arms down to the ground and stood on top of him. Brazi realized that his father was about to be killed by the massive animal, and he started sprinting towards the two combatants. Codi looked at Brazi running towards him, and this was the distraction the akul needed. The akul forcefully lowered his head to Codi's throat and took a major bite out of it. Brazi, realizing his father was about to die, jumped on top of the akul. The adrenaline that the monster was drawing upon was quickly running out, and the beast was only able to attempt to throw Brazi from his back. Brazi let out a large yell and sunk his blade completely through the akul's skull, killing him instantly. Brazi jumped off and rushed to his father.
Brazi got to his father and held him in his arms. His father wasn't able to say anything due to the lack of air he was getting, but he was able to hold up a token. Brazi grabbed the token as Codi's last breath left him. Brazi looked up to the sky and let out a tear.
The departing
Brazi returned to the canopy with his father on his shoulders and the akul being dragged behind him. He walked to the center of the city and all the Togruta's encircled him. He laid his father down, and the leader of the city walked up to him. The leader took Brazi inside his hut and Brazi was not seen for a week after.
At the end of that week, a funeral was held for Brazi's father. At the funeral, the fellow Togrutas of the city presented Codi with gifts that could be locked away forever with him in his tomb. After the ceremony, Brazi was approached by the leader yet again. This time, he gave Brazi two things. The first was a necklace made out of the teeth of the akul that Brazi killed, as well as the token that Codi gave to Brazi with his dieing breathe. It was usual for the teeth to be made into a necklace whenever a Togruta killed an akul by himself. The second was a keycard to Brazi's father's personal ship. The two then exchanged a long glance at each other, and both of them knew what Brazi was about to do. He gathered all of his personal belongings and boarded the ship. He lifted off and has never returned to Shili.
Work as a Ship Builder
Brazi drifted around for a few years trying to find a job that would interest him. He was amazed by the technological marvels of the ship he was flying, and he knew what he wanted to do. He did some research on some of the ship building groups in the galaxy, and settled on Drax Industries. He flew to the closest recruiting center, and signed up. Brazi continues to work for Drax Industires to this day.
Personality and traits
Brazi's most impressive trait is his ability to lead. Stemming from his intense training as a hunter on Shili, Brazi has been able to hone his skills in being able to lead his followers. This has greatly benefited his ship building abilities. He is able to inspire the builders so that their works is of the up most quality, and so that they complete the ship in a very time effective manor. He tends to lead from the front and helps build the ships whenever he has a moment available. He believes that a good leader should not ask his followers to do something that he or she would not be willing to do themselves.
Through dedicated studying, Brazi has become a very apt engineer when it comes to ships. He has one of the highest abilities in designing ships and is currently leading many different design teams that are not affiliated with Hoersch-Kessel Drive, Inc. and expects many of his designs to be available to the public in the near future. Due to his great leadership and engineering skills, Brazi is a self-proclaimed “pioneer” in the ship building industry, and many agree with this proclamation. He continues to study in hopes of improving his skill in both leading his fellow workers, and improving his ability to innovate new designs in the ship building industry.
Brazi isn't just a peaceful ship builder though. He is also very skilled when it comes to non-projectile weapons. He is able to use any type of non-projectile weapons, but he tends to deal more with swords and whips more than anything else. He carries around his custom-made sword that he made as part of his training on Shili, as well as a whip that is made out of a Krayt Dragon's hide that he found on one of his various trips to merchant worlds. He also wears a custom set of kinetic armor that he picked up from Nar Shadaa and modified himself. The armor is concealed by a custom-woven tunic that was picked up on the world of Vjun, which is known for it weaving technique. He is also known to carry around his journal and always wear the akul-tooth necklace, that has the token his father gave to him, around his neck.
