Biography
The being come to be called Forkallo was a warrior much like a majority of his people. He participated in several bloodings, or resource wars. His father a shaman, who spoke with the spirits of Byss. Forkallo himself never heard the spirits speak, but his father told him one day he would inherit this same gift.
One fateful night, during the winter months, a strange vessel came from the sky like nothing Forkallo had ever seen. A strange flying creature came out of of the ship, and oddly enough the creature spoke in the same tongue as the Abyssins. The creature explained he represented a group called Mytaranor, and was looking for warriors to earn wealth and glory.
Knowing that his tribe could use the resources the Galaxy at large could offer, Forkallo graciously accepted a position in the Toydarian's company of warriors. These warriors turned out to be slaves, and the slaves were sent to train and fight in the Mytaranor Slaving Council's gladiator games. Forkallo did not mind the title of slave, for the concept was quite foreign. On Byss he had no formal training, just brute strength and savage instincts. Here his fighting prowess was honed, and his skills sharpened.
The first few matches went poorly, but thanks to his Byss healing factor, he was ready within days for the next match. Forkallo's first win was against a Wookiee, a savage beast who was also a madclaw. After a brutal fight the Abyssin had come out victorious. And after that day, Forkallo did not lose another match that season. He was so highly decorated in the arena, Mytaranor granted him his freedom, and for many years he trained other gladiators in combat.
