Mina Ferrari is a former slave turned carefree explorer. During her early years she was busy with keeping inventory of stock, customer relations and sometimes having to run the store. A human native of Tatooine born into servitude that once got her freedom decided to become a Transport Pilot to help pursue her dreams of flying amongst the stars. This helped her travel the galaxy rather extensively in a short period of time. Her allegiances lay with her sister, as she was the one who helped own the doors to the vast space and introduced her to the right sort of people whom she became a employed under. She helps as much as she can with her job duties but she doesn’t let that shackle her down. She now is starting to enjoy life to the fullest.

Appearance & Demeanor

Mina is a Tatooine female with a sporty figure, blue eyes, and long brown hair. She sometimes decides to dye parts of it, most common being blonde streaks. She is rather shy at times but does open up after a while. She is a rather warm and friendly person but can come off as cold and harsh when she is being shy. She is also childish at times, possibly due to not having much of a normal childhood, but also loves to be flirty with those she is extremely comfortable with as it just comes naturally. She speaks in a soft-spoken voice with a moderate Tatooinian accent. She can get rather clingy at times and prefers female company over males, this is due to being raised by her mother and seeing how master treated her, though she has learned in more recent times to start to trust males a bit more due to the kindness that Jean bestowed upon her.
Mina doesn’t own much in terms of possessions as she grew up not having much. She is slowly starting to build up a collection of things though. She really adores the color purple, so she tries to get purple things when she can. This love for the color purple stems back to her childhood where her mom gave her a simple but lovely purple trinket, originally the trinket belonged to Jean but Mina didn’t find out about that till much later in life.
Biography
Early life on Tattoine
Having been born on the desert world of Tatooine, Mina grew up alone with her mother Clare, a former slave, and had no clue who her father was. Her mother of course knew who the father was as she had married a man named Jean Ferreri. It had to be kept secretive though due to Clare being a slave till her debt was paid off. Mina’s formative years was spent help her mom do tasks for their owner, who was a Merchant Store Owner. She could often be found in the back of the store taking stock of the inventory or helping customers, though sometimes she was told to help run the shop while her owner was away either on business or luxury. Being born into servitude was really hard for Mina as it meant she didn’t get to enjoy her childhood like other children she’s playing. The way she seen the master treat her mom didn’t help things either as it only pushed towards her distain for males.
During her time running the shop she would often hide near her mother when any male came in to the store showing that she was shy and distrustful of them. Most customers didn’t seem to mind though on particular one kept coming back in hopes to help her learn that not all males are like the master. This person of course was her father, Jean Ferrari, which Mina didn’t know. Clare kept pushing for Mina to be a bit more friendly to this man but it took Mina quite some time to start to warm up. Eventually she grew to enjoy when Jean dropped by as Mina loved to her the stories about Erica, his daughter and Emily, his deceased wife.
On Mina’s 6th birthday she was given a purple trinket as a gift, it was secretly a gift from Jean but Clare told Mina that it was from her and told her that it would be a promise that one day you will taste freedom. This gave her big hope for the future along with dreams of flying about the galaxy to view and engage in things just like the stories she was told. Several times during Jean’s visit he noticed Mina with the trinket and would smile. Mina slightly noticed but didn’t think anything of it as she thought it was just him continuing to be polite with her as he had been the whole time she’s known him. About 4 ½ months later when Jean dropped by the shop he finally asked Mina about the trinket. She thought he was asking cause he noticed how she seemed to have it with her just about all the time. Mina informed him that it was a gift from her mom and it was special because it also meant the promise of freedom. This cause Jean great joy that she enjoyed his gift and knew that on day he’d help make her and her mom’s free live full of all the please they should have had long ago.

On Mina's 17th Birthday, Clare was finally given her freedom at which point she moved in with Jean. During this time Mina learned a different way of life, a more comfortable one. She learned all about why Jean kept coming to the store, why her mom pushed her to get more comfortable with him and why Clare’s relationship with him had to be kept a secret. All of it was rather overwhelming but at the same time it made a lot of sense to Mina. She was very grateful to finally have all this freedom to do as she pleased. It was the best birthday she could ever wish for. When they finally arrived home from her big day she recalled that Jean has mentioned time and time again about his daughter which meant Mina finally now had a sister she desired to one day meet. During this new life style and transition she noticed that Jean showered Clare and her in just as much praises as he had Emily and Erica. This too was something she wished for when she was growing up living that servitude life and now she just basked it all in. Of course Jean’s stories of his daughter Erica further inspired Mina to want to travel and explore, but she had so much lost time to catch up on learning all the things she didn’t know before of the galaxy before.
Onward To the Stars and Employment

One fully year after getting freedom at the age of 18 Clare and Jean decided it was time to let their daughter go so she could try to achieve her dreams of exploration. Before she left Jean gave her some funds to help start her journey. He also gave her a way to contact Erica, though he neglected to mention that Erica didn't know about his new wife or that she also had a younger sister. Mina was so excited about this news that she quickly contacted Erica and managed to talk her into meeting her on Nal Hutta.
The day that Mina was to meet Erica was a rather joyous occasion. While it was Mina’s first exploration Erica made sure to make it a good one by being such a gracious host on her vessal. Mina was very pleased to learn that all what Jean told her about Erica was true. It made this first time reunion very special to her and she felt like her and Erica bonded rather quickly as though they had been sister living under the same roof the whole time.
With Erica’s guidance Mina found work and new friends at the Santhe Corporation. This was the start of being a Transport Pilot. Things went great for her there and she felt right at home. Through hard work and possibly some friendly flirting she was gifted two ships, a YV-666 named Open Wound and a YT-1300 named Enzo. Eventually she was given a transfer as people with her skills were needed elsewhere. Before her departure she was given yet another gift, a YT-2000 named The Red Ferrari. The transfer led her to be part of The Sinnar Conglomerate working for Sienar Technologies. She continued to get praises for her hard work though just like how she was in Santhe she was prone to sometimes drift and explore. This probably didn’t please the higher ups as they had high hopes for her in doing more but Mina didn’t really seem to want any of that and just continued to enjoy being a transporter.
An Adventure back Home

During one of her free adventures away from work Mina decided to revisit Tatooine as she missed the sand she grew accustom to be around. During this visit back to her home planet she stopped by to visit her mom and dad. She had quite an enjoyable time and decided it would be best to bottle some of the sand so she could have a part of home away from home. She went to the local market place in search of a bottle for the sand she was going to take; after all it couldn’t just be any old jar she wanted it to be specially crafted from her homeland. Upon this search she found a little Jawa whom looked alone and in need. Mina knowing those feeling from her past got the Jawa to come to her side by holding out a piece of food and saying; “Sooga?” to which the Jawa came in a shy manner and took it from her. The Jawa munched it quickly and then said, “Taa baa”. Mina smiled at the little Jawa and began to go on her way but he started to follow her. When she stopped and seen him he pointed at her sand said, “Eyeta!” Turns out this trip to just simply get a nice bottle also somehow ended up with a new little buddy. So Mina decided to let the Jawa continue to follow her, if she went a bit too fast for him she’d slow down so he could catch up. When it came time for her to leave the market she stopped to tell the Jawa bye, “Ubanya”, but he didn’t seem to want leave her side. The little Jawa quickly said, “Nyeta “ and shook it’s head then pointed at Mina again and said “Eyeta!” then continue to step towards her so it could cling to one of her legs. Seeing how the Jawa didn’t want to go she let it follow her back home. She decided if he was going to be staying for a while he needed a name thus named him Faize. When it came time to depart Faize didn’t seem to want to leave her side and followed her on her ship, thus Mina decided to adopt him.
