The Scions of Zakuul are the force order of the Eternal Empire. They serve as the spiritual advisors and force-wielders of the Eternal Throne, accompanying the Eternal Emperor on his conquests and providing counsel through their visions.
The Scions of Zakuul emerged from the Knights of Ren, a former force sect of the Son-Tuul Pride. The Knights of Ren were a group of anarchist dark siders who embarked on a quest to unveil the secrets of the Force. During their journeys, they discovered several artifacts that provided them with understanding and unlocked their force vision powers. Through these visions, they viewed the Order of Zakuul, a mysterious entity that appeared to guide them and showed them the way to rebuild the ancient empire.
History
Origins
The Scions of Zakuul evolved from the Knights of Ren to become the force order of the Eternal Empire. Unlike traditional Force orders, the Scions follow no light or dark dogma. Instead, they follow their visions, which serve as the guiding force for their actions and decisions. These visions provide counsel to the Eternal Emperor, helping to shape the empire's destiny.
The Knights of Ren, through their quest for ancient knowledge, unlocked the ability to receive Force visions. These visions revealed the ancient Empire of Zakuul, its culture, customs, and traditions. The Scions of Zakuul are the direct inheritors of this force-bound legacy, distinguishing themselves from other groups that merely study or emulate Zakuul through historical records.
Role in the Eternal Empire
The Scions of Zakuul are warriors and force wielders that accompany the Eternal Emperor on his conquests, serving as his primary force advisors. They are a key part of the Eternal Empire's Order of Zakuul, which also includes the Horizon Guard and the Knights of Zakuul.
The Scions of Zakuul have been instrumental in the expansionist operations of the Eternal Empire. Their visions have pointed the way to ancient hidden worlds in the asteroid fields scattered throughout the galaxy. Their quest for ancient artifacts has led them to uncover several significant relics.
Differentiation from Other Scions Groups
The ancient empire of Zakuul is known throughout the galaxy by researchers and their cultural descendants. However, the Scions of Zakuul of the Eternal Empire are distinct from other groups that also use the Scions name.
Other notable groups include:
The Order of Scions of the Lethean Ecumene : A separate organization that oversees and regulates the recruitment, training, and deployment of elite warriors and guardians of the Ecumene. They are often considered the cultural descendants of the ancient Zakuul, bound by faith, nobility, and an industrious spirit. This group emphasizes high technology and religion as interconnected pillars of their society.
The Eternal Empire's Scions of Zakuul distinguish themselves through their force-bound connection to the ancient empire. While other groups may claim Zakuul heritage based on empirical evidence and cultural descendants, the Scions of Zakuul inherited their legacy through Force visions, setting them apart from those who merely study or emulate Zakuul through historical records.
Artifacts
The Scions of Zakuul have uncovered several ancient artifacts during their quests:
Stone of Famis
Found by Dawson Beillane.
The stone pulses with black and red veins that seem alive. Those who touch it directly find their own veins darkening until they crumble to ash. Dawson barely resisted its call, containing it instead. The stone whispers visions of its creator, Sith Lord Famis, who consumed everything until only this stone remained of him.
The Piercing Shadow Statue
Found by Bork Shalas.
A towering ancient Sith statue known as The Piercing Shadow, standing solemnly within the ruins of a forgotten Sith tomb carved into a jagged asteroid. The statue is pitted and scarred by centuries of cosmic radiation, yet the aura of the Dark Side clings to it like black mist.
The Scorched Codex
Found by Waric Sett.
A relic of the ancient Sith, this charred, leather-bound tome has pages crafted from cured krayt dragon hide that are nearly indestructible, though many are warped as if exposed to intense heat.
