The Eternal Empire is a utopian-based society governed by the Eternal Throne, established in Year 27 following the conclusion of the Shadow Wars. Emerging from the bandit clans of the Son-Tuul Pride, the Eternal Empire represents a fundamental transformation from its criminal origins into a legitimate, expansionist galactic power. The government pursues an unattainable utopia, striving for continuous improvement while acknowledging the impossibility of perfection.
The Eternal Empire controls sectors across the galaxy, including Qiilura, Callia, Hewett, and Saijo, while maintaining a contested presence in Quiberon and Morobe. The empire maintains an extensive network of hidden forward bases throughout the galaxy, often positioned within enemy territory.
History
Foundation
The Eternal Empire was founded from the bandit clans of the Son-Tuul Pride following the Shadow Wars. Through the conflict, the Pride accumulated substantial credits and resources. Following the retirement of Crime Lord and Dragon Head Ximaro Jix, the territories that once belonged to the Zann Consortium came to form part of the Pride's dominion. Holding vast territory and resources required a new doctrine, and thus the Eternal Empire was formed.[1]
The Sable Accords were signed by all hordes and clans under the Pride, formally abolishing the use of crime and slavery. These mediums were no longer needed, and the new nation required a more diplomatic approach to establish itself as a legitimate galactic power.[2]
The abolition of slavery was formally enacted by Daimyo and Eternal Lord Grissom Brood, an act commemorated annually within the Eternal Empire as Liberation Day.[3]
Early Diplomacy and Opposition
In its early inception, the Eternal Empire achieved several peace treaties with former foes. However, the Hydian Expanse and Rebel-aligned groups such as the New Republic and the Kumquat Coalition viewed the empire as a threat to their influence. These factions sought to pressure the Eternal Empire through warfare and sabotage diplomatic advances.[4]
The situation became a matter of survival for the Eternal Empire, leading to the beginning of the Eternal Wars.
The Eternal Wars
The Eternal Wars began with the seizing of Inat from the Krath Empire, one of the more vocal Hydian Expanse groups opposing the Eternal Empire. The empire seized temporary control of the Inat system to build a Star Fortress for a future invasion, utilizing the planet Inat Major as an external prison camp within Krath territory to damage Krath morale.[5]
The Eternal Empire expanded its influence by creating a civil war within the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS), sponsoring a CIS dissident group called the Goratak Vanguard and incorporating them into its own ranks.[6]
Order of Zakuul
The Order of Zakuul serves as the spiritual and cultural powerhouse of the Eternal Empire. Unlike other groups that claim Zakuul heritage, the Eternal Empire's connection to Zakuul is rooted in force-bound visions experienced by the Knights of Ren. These visions revealed an ancient empire known as the Empire of Zakuul, allowing the Knights of Ren to adapt its culture, customs, and traditions into their own practices.
Other organizations may claim Zakuul heritage based on empirical evidence and cultural descendants, but the Eternal Empire distinguishes itself through their force-bound connection to the ancient empire. This spiritual inheritance sets them apart from those who merely study or emulate Zakuul through historical records.
The Order includes several key divisions:
Knights of Zakuul

The Knights of Zakuul serve as the most trusted paladins and generals of the Eternal Empire, functioning as the primary military leadership. They are the direct inheritors of the ancient Zakuul traditions discovered through the Knights of Ren's visions.
Scions of Zakuul

The Scions of Zakuul evolved from the Knights of Ren to become the force order of the Eternal Empire. Unlike traditional Force orders, the Scions follow no light or dark dogma. Instead, they follow their visions, which serve as the guiding force for their actions and decisions. These visions provide counsel to the Eternal Emperor, helping to shape the empire's destiny.
Horizon Guard

The Horizon Guard is a division of the Knights of Zakuul responsible for internal security and special operations. They answer only to the Eternal Throne and oversee the development and training of the Knights of Zakuul.
Armed Forces
The Eternal Empire's military is divided into Legions, each responsible for the development and defense of a different sector:
- Jade Legion – Responsible for the defense and development of Qiilura.
- Golden Legion – Responsible for the defense and development of Hewett.
- Aereum Legion – Responsible for the defense and development of Saijo.
- Horizon Guard – Responsible for the defense and development of the capital, Callia.
- Goratak Vanguard – Responsible for operations in the contested Morobe zones.
- Mantis Syndicate – Serves as the legitimate mercenary forces of the empire.
- Granse Confederacy – Functions as the bounty hunting house of the empire.
- Death Watch – Operates autonomously, controlling its own territory while maintaining allegiance to the Eternal Throne.
The Eternal Fleet
The Eternal Armada constitutes the naval power of the Eternal Empire, divided into Legions for offensive operations and stationary fleets based in each sector.
Behemoth-class Star Dreadnought

With the Galactic Civil War escalating, independent governments found themselves facing a common threat in the increasing superiority of super-capital warships, capable of overwhelming entire fleets or even blockading entire systems with their mere presence. Recognizing that no single government alone could field the resources to develop a new warship capable of answering this threat, independent governments across the galaxy began to clandestinely work together, exchanging research and development, engineering teams, and black-site manufacturing networks.
The result of this collective effort was the Behemoth-class Star Dreadnought. This ship brought an end to the Galactic Empire's supremacy with the Super Star Destroyers and the New Republic's dominance with the Home One-class vessels. The technology is available to all governments, placing the Eternal Empire in an arms race. The empire dedicates significant resources into building these ships, which are used as siege weapons and defensive supremacy carriers.
Acclamator-class Assault Ship

Acclamator-class Assault Ships are used for ground deployments, bringing massive armies down onto enemy planets while carrying a substantial garrison of fighters for space battles. These heavily armed carriers serve as the primary transport for planetary invasions.
Dreadnaught-class Heavy Cruiser
The backbone of the Armada is the Dreadnaught-class Heavy Cruiser, a versatile and powerful capital ship that forms the core of most fleet formations. The Eternal Empire's war doctrine focuses on using generic but effective ships to wear down the enemy in large numbers.
Support Vessels

These large vessels are escorted by powerful Kaloth-class Battlecruisers and EF76 Nebulon-C Assault Frigates, which add to their firepower and provide coverage against corvettes.
Mon Calamari Cruisers and Endurance-class Ships
The Eternal Empire also possesses Mon Calamari MC80a and MC80b cruisers, which are used for supremacy operations and special operations missions. These versatile vessels provide additional firepower and tactical flexibility to the Eternal Armada.
Additionally, Endurance-class ships are used as the empire's main carriers, supporting fighter assault operations and providing a mobile platform for starfighter deployment across all theaters of conflict.
Starfighters
The main fighter of the Eternal Empire is the Toscan 8-Q Starfighter, used as the primary defense for larger ships and station garrisons. The fast Star Saber XC-01 Starfighter MkII serves as the main bomber wing.
The Eternal Empire possesses a large battalion of A-wing, B-wing, and X-wing squadrons in reserve, which are mostly ready for system defense.
Ground Forces
The Eternal Legions are massive, consisting of tens of thousands of standard Eternal troops with different specialized roles.

Standard troops form the backbone of the Eternal Legions, equipped for general combat operations and trained to operate in various environments. Heavy troopers are equipped with advanced armor and heavy weaponry, designed to break through enemy defenses and provide overwhelming firepower in assault operations. Sniper troopers provide long-range precision fire, eliminating high-value targets and providing reconnaissance support to advancing legions.
Standard troops are usually accompanied by CAVw PX-10 vehicles to provide anti-infantry cover, while X10 Patrol Groundcruisers provide heavy coverage against enemy armor and fortified positions.
Gemini Protocol
The Gemini Protocol represents the mechanized forces of the Eternal Empire, a program designed to supplement the legions with automated combat units. These droid forces are integrated into the empire's military structure, providing additional combat power and reducing the need for organic troops in high-risk operations.
The Gemini Protocol includes T-Series BNDO assassin droids, specialized units designed for infiltration and precision strikes against high-value targets. These droids are equipped with advanced targeting systems and stealth capabilities, allowing them to operate behind enemy lines and eliminate key threats.
The droid forces are supported by several Basilisk War Droids, heavily armed combat droids designed for direct engagement with enemy forces. These automated units are used as shock troops, overwhelming enemy positions through sheer numbers and relentless firepower.
These automated forces are often used as fodder to overwhelm enemy forces and serve as part of the Star Fortresses' security and deployment garrisons.
Star Fortress Initiative

The Legions of the Eternal Empire often construct what they call Star Fortresses: a series of battle stations built over worlds in enemy territory. These fortresses are equipped with automated garrisons that allow the empire to project power in enemy territory. They serve as forward bases and also as outposts for operations, providing a permanent presence in contested regions.
Government and Politics
The Eternal Throne
The Eternal Empire is controlled by the Eternal Throne, the supreme authority governing all aspects of the state. The throne represents the ultimate power within the empire, guiding its pursuit of utopia and expansion. The Eternal Throne is composed of the Khagan (Eternal Emperor) and the High Justice.

The Cabal
Below the Eternal Throne sits The Cabal, an assembly of Eternal Lords who each manage their own house. The Cabal functions as the council that drives the empire's actions, with each lord commanding a legion or a separate faction operating under the Eternal Empire's banner.
High Justice

The High Justice acts as the Eternal Empire's executor, responsible for enforcing the will of the Eternal Throne and ensuring compliance with imperial law and doctrine. The current High Justice is Dax Owok.
Imperial Seal of Marque
In Year 27, following the attack on Krath, the Eternal Throne established the Imperial Seal of Marque. This decree allows the Legions, mercenaries, and bounty hunters operating under the Eternal Empire to pursue any means necessary against enemies of the empire. While serving as a reminder of their criminal past, the Seal of Marque now operates under the legitimate framework of defensive warfare, granting imperial forces the authority to conduct operations against hostile factions and protect Eternal Empire interests by any means required.[7]
Territory
The Eternal Empire controls sectors scattered around the galaxy, including:
The empire also maintains a contested presence in Quiberon and Morobe, where hidden forward bases and Star Fortresses project power in enemy territory. A wide network of hidden forward bases exists across the galaxy, often positioned within enemy territory to support expansion and defensive operations.
Sable Accords
The Sable Accords serve as the founding charter and governing framework of the Eternal Empire. Signed by all hordes and clans under the Pride, the Accords formalized the abolition of crime and slavery, establishing the legal and political structures that govern imperial territories.
Member groups of the Sable Accords include:
- Jade Horde
- Golden Horde
- Obsidian Horde
- Granse Confederacy
- Aereum Horde
- Children of the Watch
- Knights of Zakuul
- Death Watch
- Crimson Horde
