Background
Born in Lego, Lisi`anne Mal`ioor was different from other Diathim in that her skin had a natural Green glow, as opposed to white. Her father remains unknown, her mother died from complications in childbirth, leaving her an orphan. She was raised by the refugees in the city she was born. Who quickly gave her the nickname Sia, as Lisi`anne got to be a bit long for many of them.
Early Childhood
As a young child (about 3-4 years old), she discovered that she was remarkably gifted in singing, which quickly became her favorite activity. Her songs would draw beings from all walks of life from several miles around. She quickly learned that her songs could ease the hearts and minds, lulling all who hear them into a trance like state. This she often used to calm conflicts between others in the city.(age approx. 5 years) However, her rarity in color, and singing ability would soon prove tragic. Hearing rumors of a green angel who can entrance others with her songs, a Slaver decided he needed to acquire this rare specimen. If nothing else, her rarity in color would make her extremely valuable to any buyer. Angels are rare and highly valuable in the slave trade, prized for their beauty. A green angel is unheard of, and would surely be valued in the billions of credits, in rarity alone. He decided he simply had to have this angel, no matter who tried to stand in his way.
One day, while Sia was fluttering in orbit (age 6), the Slaver arrived at Iego, looking for his prize. He flew in low, and approached her village silent but fast. Having seen Sia in space above, and heard her singing for himself, he knew she was real, and out of harm's way. He bombed the village, before the inhabitants even knew what was happening. The village was destroyed, along with all it's people.
Sia, meanwhile, having heard the explosions from space, mistakenly thought her song had caused a ship to crash. She rushed back to her home as fast as her wings could carry the child. However, when she arrived, she found only burning rubble and ash remaining. She fell to her knees, screaming in horror at the loss of everyone and everything she had ever known. It is said that Lisi`anne Mal`ioor died with her village that day, for the Angel who now stood in her place was never the same again. All joy and happiness had been ripped from the child's soul. The Slaver, (who called himself Kain) was the only other living being for several miles. Kain lied and said he went there after hearing the explosion, to try to help any survivors. In her broken state, Sia accepted his lies and boarded his ship without any hesitation. That would prove to be the last time she would see her home. The child found herself in the slave trade, being sold off to the highest bidder for an insanely large amount of credits. Her gift for song would reflect her broken heart, and many an owner sold her off, tired of the constant crying that came from her haunting lyrics. Somewhere in the constant changing of "owners", Sia learned to play a musical instument that was called a "harp". However her harp playing would prove almost as hauntingly sad as her singing. Thus was the whole of her existance now. It is said that the child's heart and soul became enshrouded in a storm of deep shadows. Leading to her being called Sia Shadowstorm.
Raging Banthas - a new family
Her most recent "owner" tried to cross Cobra by not paying his debt as agreed, but rather trying to hand over Sia as payment. This treatment of a child, greatly angered the normally kind Thali`a, and the poodoo trader was killed on the spot. Thali`a then took the child (then about 10 years old) "under her wing". Thali`a and Cobra were the first to show the child any form of kindness since her village was destroyed, and in the young child's eyes, became like another substitute family. As a young teenager (12-13 years old), she learned to fly starships. Once she was deemed competent, she joined the ranks of the Raging Banthas. Though still young (approx. 15-16 years old), she looks forward to proving herself an asset to the Raging Banthas, who she views as her new family. She can often be heard calling male members of the Banthas "Nerra". (Twi`lek meaning "Brother")
