=== Early Years ===
Ryan was born in Tyrena City, [[Corellia]] at Year -14 Day 190 as Ryan nar Roché. His father was one of the working men in the [[Corellian]] Shipyards and his mother died when he was just 4 years old. His father's name was Robert Roché and his mother was called Anna Roché. His mother took care of him until she died. Her cause of death is unknown but assumed a fatal disease, Ryan never knew for sure because neither his father nor older brothers ever talked about it. Ryan's two brothers are Ben and Tony Roché. They both went to work with their father in the [[Corellian]] Shipyards Complex to build spacecraft.
When Ryan reached the age of six, two years after his mother's death, his Father sent him to the Tyrena Flight School in order to teach him how to fly ships and get more familiar with them. Ryan's father had many plans for him. After he graduated from the Flight School at the age of 13, his father spent the family's savings to fund Ryan's further education. He was then enrolled to the Tyrena Academy of Engineering to study Ship Designs and ultimately become a ship designer. During that time he also went to work with his Father and older brothers in the Shipyard Complex. His brothers disliked him because of their father's fondness of him and during their youth Ryan was known for being the favourite of the family. Since the control over Corellian space was administrated by the [[Galactic Empire]], as Ryan grew up he learned to love the [[GE|Empire]] and what it stood for. At the age of 18 he graduated from the Academy and against his father's wishes enlisted in the [[Imperial Navy]] as a potential pilot.
=== A New Start in the Empire ===
Leaving his home planet for the first time, he was headed to the [[Imperial Academy]] to expand his knowledge in piloting, combat, and basic Imperial education. He finished with a score just below the needed to graduate with honours and was given the rank of Crewman. He was then assigned to the 4th Imperial Fleet under the Command of Captain Sarod Jaeger and welcomed by the rest of the fleet, people who Ryan will consider his close friends in the next few years.
