Biography

Born in the ancient world of Devaron, Sirius was born in a wealthy family whose members are natural traders and businessmen; his father, Klaython Cyan, was a successful entrepreneur until his death, soon after her wife, Maphalda, gave birth to Sirius - this scared Sirius for life, even though he did not have the chance to meet him. Sirius’ cousin, Horley Cyan, is also a well-known trader and leader, known for his many endeavors and his past in the Trade Federation.

Following tradition, Sirius started trading at a young age. In spite of mild success, a wild temper and an incontrollable eagerness to travel made him leave the comfort of his home and join a group of space explorers, leading him into the Outer Rim to find amazing new things – there he had the opportunity to learn much about life and death, good and evil. He made good and bad choices and soon after becoming the group’s leader the group had the luck to find the wreckage of an old republican ship filled with riches beyond imagination. Sirius, now a more experienced and quiet person (and honest too), chose to recover the riches and give it back to the rightful owner – according to the ship’s logs. The group, however, had a different opinion on the matter and so staged a coup to relieve Sirius of power and, anyway, kill him.

A violent battle followed the coup with Sirius and half a dozen loyal crewmen fighting for their lives against almost thirty traitors. The odds were bad and Sirius understood retreat was the best option available, so those seven space heroes headed to the escape pods, fighting each meter against overwhelming forces. Obviously they wouldn’t make it without losses and so it happened – of those seven champions, three died in battle and one died soon after they eject the ship from blood loss. But they escaped. Funny thing, the rebellious crew got into a fight against an imperial star destroyer some weeks later and was destroyed – who would have guessed?

After being rescued by a republican cruiser passing by, Sirius decided it was time to end his career as an explorer and returned home. There he got in contact with his cousin, Horley, who asked Sirius to join him in his many enterprises throughout the galaxy. Baffled by how well Horley was doing he agreed, starting there a whole new chapter of his life.

Today Sirius is still working with his cousin bringing happiness and joy in this dark galaxy of ours, now exploring not the unknown worlds but the organic system that supports the galaxy, always learning something new…and making some profit in the meanwhile, just like his family!
