Standing 6' 1" with an athletic 210 lb frame, the dark Corellian pilot is a well known businessman, trader, gambler, pirate and former Shockball player (Boordii Steampunks). He has made his fare share of allies and enemies, as well as an undisclosed fortune. Suffering from an extreme case of wanderlust, as most Corellians do, Jax enjoys cruising the space-lanes living life as he pleases. Jaxon Calrissian Al’zandar, the only son of Corellian Diplomats Lance and Nia Al’zandar, got his start in life wanting for nothing. He was afforded the finest education, traveled to and from the major systems of the Inner Core, and hobnobbed with Celebrities, Politicians, Activists, and Freedom Fighters alike.
Biography
In Y.9 / D.353, Jax set out to meet his own destiny… to carve his own pathHis cool demeanor gave no clue as to what an action junkie Jax wasHowever he was always looking for some kind of  grand adventure. This all came to pass when he answered a distress beacon. It lead him to the Orus sector, where upon exiting hyperspace, his small ship met with full system failure. With limited time, and all of his wits, Jax managed to safely crash land near the city of Gok, on the planet Mereranor.
Childhood
The only child of Corellian diplomats Lance and Nia Al'zandar, Jax was an exceptionally bright childHe showed an uncanny ability, for a child, to be still and pay attention.  This proved to be one of his biggest assets, as he got an education like very few others.

With no ship, no credits, and no idea of what to do next, Jax walked the city until he came to a tavern. There he stayed in a drunken stupor, living only by the generosity, or pity of strangers. Bar fights, and public disturbances, were normal for Jax. It’s a wonder he was never arrested. Over a year of Jax's life is unaccounted for by him. He plunged deep into the seedier side of life, choosing to associate with Ryll dealers, prostitutes, and other dregs of society. He was distraught over loosing everything, and gaining nothing. Drink and drugs became his world.
Because one or both of his parents were usually called away to negotiate deals on behalf of the Galactic Empire and it's Core affiliates, Jax was  tutored while aboard a CR-90 Corvette, C-3 Passenger Liner or some other luxury ship, at times by some of the galaxy's top university professors. He also had the benefit of being able to occasionally sit in on diplomacy talks and negotiations.  He got to see first hand the power of the spoken word. How saying just the right thing can cause life long peace or life ending war. Jax's parents were his heroes, until he met the pirate who kidnapped him.

Eventually, lucid thought started to comeback to Jax. He began physical training in the mountains, near the desert wastelands on the outskirts of the city, and found a job in a speeder shop repairing vehicles. With the credits he earned, Jax was able to buy an old beat up ETA-2 Starfighter, which he began to restore. He would get off that planet at all costs.
At age 11, Jax and his mother were captured by the dreaded Hidden Dagger pirates.  The two were held for ransom.  A burden on Lance's shoulder, as it was a price he could not pay in full. Diplomacy was attempted in regaining his family, but in the end he was only able to free one hostage for the ransom that nearly bankrupted him.  That hostage was his wife, Nia.

One day while returning from his workout, a faint glint of metal, barely hidden in the sand, caught Jax’s eye. Viewing closer, he discovered it was an attaché case. Upon further investigation, he found the case cuffed to a dead courier. With a heavy rock, Jax was able to open the mysterious case to find a DT-12 Blaster, and a Lightsaber; the famed weapon of a Jedi. Totally unexpected, Jax takes his newly found prize, and heads back to his residence. Unknown to Jax, he was followed by the opportunistic thug, and his gang of five, that murdered the courier.   Their aim was nothing less than acquiring the Lightsaber for a Black Market sale.
For 6 months Lance worked feverishly to attain the credits needed to get back his son.  For 6 months a boy was at the mercy of villainous thugs.  If not for Commander Jinn-Tu Wisslar, a high ranking member of the pirate organization, the unspeakable may have happened to young Jax. Wisslar looked after Jax, and made him feel as comfortable as possible given the situation. Within those months Jax learned to appreciate the freedom these pirates had, and how happy they seemed, despite the violence they inflict on the galaxy. Wisslar showed Jax that terror and bloodshed are powerful negotiating tactics just as the spoken word, often times with a swifter result. A special bond was formed between the two.  Wisslar was Jax's personal personification of the storied swashbuckler. Jax was Wisslar's last shot at some personal redemption.

Right in the middle of the busy market place, Jax was confronted. Three obviously novice gangsters rushed in. Jax made quick work of them. Two more attackers lunged. Though they were more skilled than their predecessors, they were still no match for Jax. He saw their moves before they were made. They all ended up bloodied and broken. The leader of the gang managed to get the drop on Jax, and was able to aim his EE-3 Blaster to his back. Though that proved to be a delinquent effort, for Jax spun around like a cyclone, only to find the thug lying in the street, severed in two. In Jax’s hand was the Lightsaber, glowing a brilliant electric-blue. He concealed the weapon, and made his way from public scrutiny.  The beings in the market place marveled at what took place. No one around those parts had ever seen a Lightsaber. At best, it was just a myth. In their excitement they began pointing, and shouting, STARBLADE! STARBLADE!, the regional term for the ancient weapon, and now the name bestowed upon Jax.
Teenage Years
One individual, that took exceptional notice of Jax’s handiwork, was an old human male. Jinn-Tu Wisslar  follow Jax home, and surprise him in his very own living quarters. Turns out Jinn-Tu was a high ranking Jedi Knight before the Clone Wars, but had gone into exile with the rise of the Galactic Empire. He was not sure how the courier came into possession of the Lightsaber, though it did belong to Jinn-Tu. Understanding that their meeting was no coincidence, he took Jax on as a student in the ways of Jedi meditation, and combat, even though Jax was not Force sensitive. To train with, Jax was given a vibrosword, constructed with the rare material Cortosis. The addition of this material allows the weapon to parry even Lightsaber strikes.  Jax trained with Jinn-Tu diligently for months. He was also able to fully restore, and customize his ETA-2, which he named RAZORBLADE.  Finally the time for Jax to leave that planet had come. Armed with his vibrosword, dubbed the Starblade as well, the DT-12 Blaster, and a new sense of purpose, Jax Starblade once again set off for the stars.
