Taka Aioko was elected the sixth Chief of State of the New Republic on Year 12 Day 17.
Taka Aioko worked exclusively in civil sectors, and covered many positions leading several nationalized factions, eventually becoming Minister of State. He calls himself a man of action, and he was awarded two Outstanding Excellence and two Hydian Star of Excellence medals.
As Minister of State, he worked in the restructure of the New Republic organization and was appointed Second in Command of the New Republic. Before his election to Chief of State, he commanded successfully an operation aimed at liberating the planet Sacorria from CorSec, for which he earned the Perlemian Star of Freedom.
He was re-elected in Year 13 Day 17, becoming the very first sentient to have filled the role of Chief of State for two consecutive administrations. In addition to be a record per se, his two-year administration managed to break what the galaxy had called "the curse of the NR CoS," referring to the past gloom history of the Republican Chiefs of State.
Taka Aioko's double election makes him the sixth and seventh Chief of State of the New Republic, despite some sources indicate Cheda Quche as the seventh CoS.
