Description

The Gree Trade Authority (GTA) is the governing body of the Gree system, tracing its historical roots back to the ancient Gree Enclave that once controlled a large sector of the Outer Rim Territories. The GTA was established shortly after the expulsion of the Black Sun Crime Syndicate at the hands of the GenoHaradan paramilitary organization and the Mandalorian clan Dael'mor in Year 14 CGT. As their operation was scaling back due to overwhelming success, control of the system was handed to the GTA with GenoHaradan and Dael'mor converting to support and advisory roles, assisting the new government of the Gree system with infrastructural and defensive requirements.

Intent on expanding the economic and defensive capabilities of the Gree system, the Gree Trade Authority has opened its borders in the interest of building relationships with many galactic-scale organizations and governments. Funded by credit reserves and assets seized from Black Sun, the GTA is creating new streams of sustainable revenue by investing heavily into local businesses and increased trade with other star systems. Massive construction projects are underway to create new residences and employment in an effort to encourage a growth in immigration to the growing system.
