Ithael Slite is a member of the Falleen Federation, and is Nathran of Kthran, a noble clan of the Falleen people.
Biography
Beginnings
The famed son of a ranking elder in the Kthran Clan, Ithael Slite was born more than a century preceding the rise of the Galactic Empire. A close friend and confident to eventual King of the Falleen People, Eldrik Kuraine, Slite left the Falleen homeworld to join Kuraine in service to the Old Republic. Following a brief stint in the Republic Navy, Ithael left to pursue a career in the Republic Army. This decision was a favorable one, and landed him a position with Republic Intelligence, where he spent most of his time until reuniting with Kuraine to serve as his personal attache.
The Rise of the Empire
With the Fall of the Old Republic, Slite worked as a double agent within the Imperial Senate for a band of freedom fighters who would go on to be called the Rebel Alliance, however he was ultimately betrayed by a close friend and confident. Imperial agents arrested the Falleen dissident, imprisoned, and tortured him.
Following two years in Imperial Detention facilities a band of Falleen militants rescued Slite, told him of the desecration of Falleen Prime, and explained their intention to establish a Federation of the Noble Falleen Clans, united in their resistance to the Galactic Empire. Shortly thereafter, Ithael returned to Kuraine's side, and served with him until the fateful events at the Battle of Beta.
Dawning the Cloak
In the aftermath of Beta, Slite returned to Falleen Prime, and wandered into the deserts of his people. Upon finding his Kthran clansmen, Slite was infuriated by the state of clan affairs, and set his eyes on the position of Nathran, a position better known as the "Desert Lord" to the Kthran people. Although possessing nothing comparable to the physical prowess of the standing Desert Lord, Ithael had intelligence, cunning, and centuries of galactic experience at his disposal. The day finally came when Slite challenged the Desert Lord, and through a long string of carefully orchestrated events, the duel ended in the challengers favor. Ithael dawned the Cloak of the Desert Lord, and was installed as the new Nathran of Kthran.
