Marvel is a starship privately operated by Vir Calder. Built in Y20 and acquired by Calder in early Y23, the ship underwent a major conversion process to become a cruise ship. In Y26, she reverted back to her intended role as a heavy carrier.

Cruise Ship

Between Y23 and Y26, the ship served as the rest and recuperation destination for his employees and his guests. The ship's vast holds originally intended for ships and cargo hosted casual and fine dining restaurants, a tavern, a cafe, a tea house, a theater, two swimming pools, a fitness center, and a conference room. Guest staterooms were located in the aft section of the ship. During the Y26 conversion, these amenities were removed and reestablished aboard Isidoreia.

Carrier

From Y26 and on, the ship served as the carrier, holding a number of ships of Calder's private fleet.

Officers

Lirri Anders has been the master of Marvel since Y23; the Cathar female has decades of experience in spacefaring in the civilian sector, and more recently served several stints as the acting commanding officer of Calder's home ship, Wanderlust, when temporary personnel issues arose.

Carga Juna, a Sullustan male with a equally respectable tenure in the civilian sector, serves as the ship's first mate.

Jerex Sinan, a Human male, oversees the ship's security operations. Under his direction is a private security force supported by many security droids. Sinan is a retired Imperial Intelligence operative who had worked with Calder earlier in Calder's career.

Marvel holds Galactic registry ID number of 898960. It is currently registered at Austan in Arkanis Sector as of Y23 D238. Prior to this, the ship's home port was registered as Vinsoth in Quelii Sector.
