Many Kiffar have great tales of their clans, or their heritage to the great clans of past. Some would tell you of their fathers and mothers teachings, making them the men and women they are to this day. Tales of how they faced themselves in the wilds and discovered who they really were. In the case of Colton, the tale does not involve clans, heritage, or achievement in trials. Rather his story brings about the realism that the galaxy is a cold place, and that more times than not the youth of so many sentient races are left to die simply because they were unwanted. Born to a mother of Corellian Blood, and a father exiled for his love of an outsider above his own clan - the name Colton Trevor Hatfield was stained and spat upon before he had even had the chance to leave the womb. His birth site had originally been selected on Kiffar, but within the last few days of her pregnancy his mother Laura Anne Tiyana was forced to leave against her will. The clan of his father, Artim Mocaxa (Hatfield had yet to be adopted into his name) was rather strict about their traditions and members of blood. A child such as Colton was not only frowned upon, but often times put to death due to cross bred blood. The Mocaxa claimed to be of the Moxla Clan blood, a major Kiffar tribe. Whether this was true or not mattered not, their belief in it was real enough and when word reached Laura that her and her unborn child was to be murdered, she fled as quickly as possible. Her plan was to return to Corellia and raise her child a civilized, Imperial citizen where he could enjoy and reap the benefits of the finest things in the galaxy - but as stated, his name was cursed before he was ever born and fate would not allow such a soft lifestyle for a man that would be so wicked.

Before the ship even made it to orbit, Laura went into labor and the pilot knew that neither the mother or the child would ever survive on a ship without a medical bay. Being of non Kiffar decent himself the pilot had no reason to hold bias to the woman or her child, and further more the fact that the father was not on board was already a sign of a rough future for the child. Taking pity on them both, he took the ship into port at Kiffu, and instructed Laura to follow his lead should she want her and her child to have a future. While not Kiffar himself, the pilot had developed some close friends with some of the local clans on Kiffu and knew that he could get medical help. He took the ship to Chimayo, a city in the mountains. Once there he introduced himself as Lance Colton Hatfield, and Laura as his wife. After giving a short explanation that she was in labor with his child the locals quickly gave the help. Approximately an hour later Laura gave birth to a son, who in honor of the pilots heroism in her time of need, she named Colton Trevor Hatfield..

For a while after his birth, things were peaceful for Laura and Colton, at least as peaceful as it could get so to say. Once her health was stable and it was safe to travel with her newborn, Laura fled back to her home on Corellia where her family was awaiting them. The troubles Laura faced upon returning were great, she had tainted her family name and on top of it all she had a bastard child that was mixed with a "wild species of man" as it was put. All the same, the family had no choice but to accept her and Colt as one of their own and they did their best to hide his bloodline from the public, and even from him! Six years came and went and as far as Colton knew he was a Corellian child just like his brother Dain. He even went by Colton Trevor Thurith for a while - an alias given to him by his grandparents. Most of the friends and associates of the Thurith family bought it, but others that knew Laura and the family better than most questioned the legitimacy of Colton. Over the six years growing up Colton had received the standard Imperial Youth Education, and for the most part was like all the other children. He did however have a natural love for acrobatics and was often in trouble for climbing out on ledges and trying to perform flips and other stunts.

During the six years Laura had worked on restoring her name back in Corellia and had made some rather serious ties in the game of Imperial politics. She had earned her way to Planetary Minister of Economics for Corellia a huge role to fill that had an equally huge paycheck to provide her and her family. Needless to say she also met a male suitor, an officer with the Imperial Army. Captain Edvaan Dain Thurith. The two had met a few months after she had returned, and a year later were married with a child soon to come. Despite knowing the truth about Colton, Edvaan treated him like his own flesh and blood and would even claim to be his biological father if asked! Despite his rough cut attitude due to years within a Stormtrooper Legion he had a big heart and loved his family. Even after his biological child, Dain Anthony Thurith, was born he did not make any difference between the two boys and for those six years the family grew up closely. As it would stand however, all good things must come to an end. In the case of Colton and Dain it was a tragic end.

About the time that Colton was seven, and Dain six, a lot of violence had been erupted on Corellia. The Economy was failing due to the Empire's raises in taxes, and to make matters worse a minor plague had swept across the planet killing off much of its own food sources which forced the locals to now pay more for food that had to be delivered from other planets. The Imperial Governors and Moffs had backed away claiming the problems were local not government, and left the responsibility and blame on political heads such as Laura Thurith. To make matters worse for her, Edvaan her husband had recently been promoted to Colonel which forced him to deploy a great distance from his family which forced Laura to not only do her job as Planetary Minister but also raise her two sons alone. The stress seemed to have finally caught up with her because she had announced her resignation to her fellow Ministers and had already scheduled for her family to be moved with her husband on base. If asked, both Colton and Dain will tell you they remember quiet well the last time they saw their mother. She stood at a podium in front of thousands of Corellians. She wore a solid white suit, and a white hat with a veil with a single red rose tucked into the band that ran around it. Colt stood at her left, and Dain at her right both holding her hands. She began her speech with "My Corellian Brothers and Sisters, it has become a sad day for me..". Those were her last words before she fell over backwards, he chest nearly missing from a precisely placed shot from a sniper. A Storm Trooper by the name of Alec Rhellin, a personal friend of Edvaan's quickly swooped up the two children before the sniper could make his next shots to eliminate them as well. While no records show where they went, rumors are stretched far and wide. What is known is that only Dain made it to his father.
= Biography Information =


One piece of a clue was an old holodisc journal that belonged to a small group of slavers that called themselves the Kakaon Trapmen. There was mention of finding a child that wanted to join them and become a killer and the description of the child is a very close match to Colton at that age. The journal stated that they kidnapped the boy with intentions of taking him to Hutt Space for sell, but they were forced to abort their jump to Hutt Space due to engine problems. Instead they came out of hyperspace at the Kiffex system..

Colton Hatfield began his paramilitary/criminal career at an early age, fourteen to be exact, when he left the planet of Kiffu with a band of raiders known as The Wayen Tong. It was here he learned the basics of shooting, firearm management, and several combat tactics to help keep him alive. It was the Tong's original plan to sell Colt off on the slave market, but the young boy proved himself during a skirmish with the New Republic on the planet Tatooine hours before his intended trade was to be done. By himself Colt managed to not only best, but kill, three New Republic soldiers and drag a wounded Tong member to safety. Seeing that the boy was not the typical boy his age, the members of the Tong all agreed he was good enough to raid with them. For two years this became Colt's life, ambushing random travelers and caravans with his new found friends in the Wayen Tong. The group came to a swift end when they attempted to ambush an Imperial convoy that was actually a military strike team under disguise as a humanitarian convoy. Colt was left alive simply because he played it off that he was a captured slave, just as his friends in the Tong had told him to do.


With the slavers now in need of engine repairs they had no choice but to bring their bounty down the Kiffar for a fast trade. The Kakaon Trapmen had no real connections or friends on Kiffex, but they knew well enough that there were still several societies that dealt with slaves, it was just a matter of finding one. In the meantime Colton had overheard the discussions between the slavers and came to discover he was not really joining a band of killers, but was soon to be traded off like a piece of meat! His only option was to attempt escape once the ship was safely landed somewhere. The mind of Colton had changed a lot due to the course of events. His mother slayed before him, his father unreachable, and now he was betrayed and heartbroken. Completely alone, and his clothing still stained with his mothers blood. All this on the child's mind at once caused a lot of damage to him, and Colton seemed to take on a much darker and twisted persona to mankind in general. He hated these beings that had tricked him, he hated the beings that had killed his mother and taken away his life. He hated life, and almost everything in it. He hated his father for having gone away leaving his brother and mother alone and for a short while he even hated his brother for being in the safety of his father, or so he believed, while Colton now faced certain danger.
The Empire confiscated Colt along with all the other assets belonging to the Tong. He was brought before Imperial Intelligence for re-education and processing but his file in a nutshell stated that “He Did Not Take” to it. After a month aboard an Imperial Star Destroyer, Colt had gone nearly mad. His contact had only been with doctors, psychologist and security and all he had seen was the four walls of his room. By chance one day he caught a guard slipping in his duties, and the young man took full advantage. He killed the guard, took his security clearances and weapons and escaped via shuttle without a single shot being fired. On this very shuttle he traveled for six days trying to gain as much distance between himself and the Empire as possible, it was this that caused him to run out of fuel and become stranded in Deep Space for almost a week. Colton had nearly starved to death before a wandering CR-90 chanced by his location and detected him on scanners. This time it was not the Empire or New Republic, but rather the Ellipsis Pirates. The boy and the shuttle were instantly seized and taken captive.  


Many beings in the galaxy talk about the Kiffar species and their natural abilities and affinity for combat. Some would even say they are born with the muscle memory of their ancestors, and are fine tuned for combat from the day they are old enough to hold a blade or blaster. This is not necessarily true, but in Colton's case he had always been athletic and acrobatic growing up. He had no martial skills to practice on the men that had kidnapped him but when you compare the physical endurance and health of a seven year old Kiffar to that of a thirty of forty year old Corellian the difference is phenomenal and the Kakaon Trapmen were soon to find that out! The slavers brought their ship to land at a town known as Deadend, home of the famous Black Hole cantina. It was here they had hoped they would simply cuff and collar the boy and walk him out to market - but with great cunning and timing Colton managed to slip the slavers and exit their ship. Upon his feet hitting the surface of Kiffex the young boy ran, some tales say he ran for two days straight. Unable to open fire on him, and with their ships engines disabled the group of slavers had lost their prize and were now faced with even more problems. As for Colton, the young boy did in fact run for more than a day straight and ended up in a section of the jungles east of Deadend, known as the Hxa Jungle.  
It did not take long for Ellipsis to realize Colt had no value on the market, and when questioned by their leader at the time, Avicii Tempah, they were shocked to find the young man had already experienced his fair share of plundering and killing. It was soon decided to give Colt a chance, and for two years the Kiffar proved himself to Ellipsis and its leaders, and it was well worth it. Within two years the young boy had grown into a man, and a feared pirate. Ranking 3rd in Command of Ellipsis finally, Colt was given what was known as his “Bastard's Wings” which granted him full reign to train and operate with his own crew out of Ellipsis which he did successfully for nearly a full year until yet another tragic end would come. Uli-ah Gafsa and an Ellipsis affiliate, Dominic von Black approached Colt one night with evidence that Tempah had cloned himself and intended to hand over the entire Ellipsis treasury to his clone, all to prosper Black Sun. Outraged at the betrayal Colt quickly voted in to take out Avicii. However Colt had a lot of love for his mentor Avicii which had taught him a great deal about piracy, and because of this he could not opt to pull the trigger himself. Feeling it only proper, Uli-ah Gafsa was given the task of eliminating Avicii while Colt was to eliminate his clone.

After the execution of Avicii Tempah the pirate ring that was known as Ellipsis fell into the hands of Uli-ah Gafsa and Colton Hatfield. Uli immediately made Colton his 2nd In Command, and the two operated together for some time under the new alias of Twin Suns Pirates, a reflection of Uli's home world Tatooine. This did not last terribly long as Colt soon grew tired of piracy and wanted a change of pace, so after leaving with Uli's blessing Colton moved on to the New Republic to see if he could not straighten his life out for the best and become a new man. This too did not last to terribly long. After a few weeks word got out that the former pirate was now retired from Twin Suns, and his reputation was bouncing around the underworld vastly. It did not take long for Andy Longshot to recognize the potential of the young man and offer him a new home with his newly formed pirate band known as The Pressure Pirates. Colt was uninterested at first, but as time and persistence from Andy continued, he soon came to realize he was far better at crime than he was at being a legit sentient and so he joined up as a co-founder of Pressure Pirates, and was appointed 3rd In Command there. While Andy and his wife Lilitu were very experienced gang members from the swoop gang Dark Star Hellions, they were not experienced in being pirates. So despite his rank and title with them, the truth was Colt was the most experienced pirate they had..


Under several promises that Pressure would be his new home, Colton finally gave in and donated most of his personal treasure chest to the cause that was Pressure Pirates, totally well over 100,000,000 in credits and assets. Little did he know that Andy Longshot and Lilitu Longshot were playing him for the money and assets, using his goods to supply their own plans. Colt soon picked up on this but it was also seen by another.. Ximaro Jix the Krestviniic of Zann Consortium. Unknown to Colt, Ximaro had been watching him for quite some time. Way before he was the 3rd In Command of Pressure. The leader of Zann Consortium was perhaps the most gifted individual in the galaxy at recognizing loyalty and heart. Knowing quite well that Andy and Lilitu would one day betray the criminal conglomerate they were a part of, Ximaro chose to take Colton under his wing in a sense of apprenticeship. The pirate had learned quite a bit about being loud, rough and deadly – but Ximaro taught him a new way to the life of crime, the way of the Defiler. It was during this period that Ximaro became far more to Colt than simply a mentor, he became much like the father that the young man had never had and Colt swore a life vow to him that to this day is in tact.

== The Assassination of Andy Longshot ==
 
On Year 15 Day 177, Andy "Vex" Longshot, Commodore of Pressure Pirates and Dark Star Hellions Original Sergeant at Arms was intercepted on a trading station in the orbit of planet Ord Vaxal in the Vaxal system. Andy walked into a trap that was created and set by Defiler Cell Leader Xanxus Drol and known Defiler and Pirate of Dread, Assurian Fury, whom were both on scene to ensure Andy would take the bait. Vice President of Dark Star Hellions Seth Haze and Crime Lord of Zann Consortium Ximaro Jix arrived and shortly after Andy Longshot found himself barricaded on the Trading Station. Andy attempted to evade arrest but was quickly subdued and arrested by Haze. Moments later, Assault Defiler Colton Hatfield entered into the trading station, where Andy was held captive and executed him swiftly and mercilessly despite Andy's pleas to Ximaro to see reason, while Vice President Haze stood watch over the prisoner.

== The Morph to Beast ==
 
During the execution of his former mentor, Andy Longshot, Colton had obtained blood splatter into his eye and contracted the same virus which had mutated Andy into a Diathim, more commonly known as the Derra Virus. It did not take long for the virus to take grasp of Colt's genes and begin twisting them like pretzels. Colton himself does not speak about the change, and seems quite ashamed of the change due to his pride in his Kiffar heritage. Despite this Colton agreed to allow some of his medical observation to be made public so that others in the galaxy would know the signs.
 
Day 1 - Subject has been running a fever of 111 degrees, and no matter what we try his temperature will not break. I am not risking anymore chemical agents with him, hes just going to have to tough it out.
 
Day 1 - Subject seems to be having hallucinations, speaking in an odd dialect. This is definitely a case of the Derra Plague sweeping the galaxy. We believe this subject in particular has contracted it from cross contamination during the line of duty. The fever seems to be holding at 111, but still no signs of reducing itself. At this rate his brain is going to be fried.
 
Day 2 - Gave the subject a sedative about thirty minuets ago, he was in severe convulsions. The temperature has dropped from 111 to 91. Upon taking his pulse and blood preesure, our staff found multiple heart beats within the subject. Possible chance that the subject was carrying an internal twin his whole life? We are not sure yet, but once the sedative takes full effect we will be running a scan to see just what is going on in there.
 
Day 2 - Simply amazing! The subject has developed multiple hearts, and not only that but he appears to now have two livers as well. I've seen some wild things in my medical career but this is surely the most unbelievable act in science I've ever had the chance to see. The subject also seems to have grown approximately three inches and his skin is beginning to chafe. Going to have staff get him treated with some lotions and medication for the rashes. The subjects temperature seems to have dropped lower to approximately 85 degrees and has held there. Still awaiting him to awaken.
 
Day 2 - Note that subject has developed poison glands which secrete from the pores! We lost two nurses today, and am now restricted to the use of droid personnel. What a nightmare, and to think this study was going so well! All the same, several interesting changes have began to happen. Upon waking up the subject seemed to be holding a sane personality, but his eyes had turned red. and his facial features seem to be changing.

Day 7 - The subject is definitely a species we have not seen much of in the galaxy, I believe they are known as the Amani. Though he still retains the memories of Colton Hatfield he is a different beast altogether now..

Uli immediately made Colton his 2nd In Command, and the two operated together for some time under the new alias of Twin Suns Pirates, a reflection of Uli's home world Tatooine. This did not last terribly long as Colt soon grew tired of piracy and wanted a change of pace, so after leaving with Uli's blessing Colton moved on to the New Republic to see if he could not straighten his life out for the best and become a new man. This too did not last to terribly long. After a few weeks word got out that the former pirate was now retired from Twin Suns, and his reputation was bouncing around the underworld vastly. It did not take long for Andy Longshot to recognize the potential of the young man and offer him a new home with his newly formed pirate band known as The Pressure Pirates. Colt was uninterested at first, but as time and persistence from Andy continued, he soon came to realize he was far better at crime than he was at being a legit sentient and so he joined up as a co-founder of Pressure Pirates, and was appointed 3rd In Command there. While Andy and his wife Lilitu were very experienced gang members from the swoop gang Dark Star Hellions, they were not experienced in being pirates. So despite his rank and title with them, the truth was Colt was the most experienced pirate they had..

Under several promises that Pressure would be his new home, Colton finally gave in and donated most of his personal treasure chest to the cause that was Pressure Pirates, totally well over 100,000,000 in credits and assets. Little did he know that Andy Longshot and Lilitu Longshot were playing him for the money and assets, using his goods to supply their own plans. Colt soon picked up on this but it was also seen by another.. Ximaro Jix the Krestviniic of Zann Consortium. Unknown to Colt, Ximaro had been watching him for quite some time. Way before he was the 3rd In Command of Pressure. The leader of Zann Consortium was perhaps the most gifted individual in the galaxy at recognizing loyalty and heart. Knowing quite well that Andy and Lilitu would one day betray the criminal conglomerate they were a part of, Ximaro chose to take Colton under his wing in a sense of apprenticeship. The pirate had learned quite a bit about being loud, rough and deadly – but Ximaro taught him a new way to the life of crime, the way of the Defiler. It was during this period that Ximaro became far more to Colt than simply a mentor, he became much like the father that the young man had never had and Colt swore a life vow to him that to this day is in tact.

The Assassination of Andy Longshot

On Year 15 Day 177, Andy "Vex" Longshot, Commodore of Pressure Pirates and Dark Star Hellions Original Sergeant at Arms was intercepted on a trading station in the orbit of planet Ord Vaxal in the Vaxal system. Andy walked into a trap that was created and set by Defiler Cell Leader Xanxus Drol and known Defiler and Pirate of Dread, Assurian Fury, whom were both on scene to ensure Andy would take the bait. Vice President of Dark Star Hellions Seth Haze and Crime Lord of Zann Consortium Ximaro Jix arrived and shortly after Andy Longshot found himself barricaded on the Trading Station. Andy attempted to evade arrest but was quickly subdued and arrested by Haze. Moments later, Assault Defiler Colton Hatfield entered into the trading station, where Andy was held captive and executed him swiftly and mercilessly despite Andy's pleas to Ximaro to see reason, while Vice President Haze stood watch over the prisoner.

The Morph to Beast

During the execution of his former mentor, Andy Longshot, Colton had obtained blood splatter into his eye and contracted the same virus which had mutated Andy into a Diathim, more commonly known as the Derra Virus. It did not take long for the virus to take grasp of Colt's genes and begin twisting them like pretzels. Colton himself does not speak about the change, and seems quite ashamed of the change due to his pride in his Kiffar heritage. Despite this Colton agreed to allow some of his medical observation to be made public so that others in the galaxy would know the signs.

Day 1 - Subject has been running a fever of 111 degrees, and no matter what we try his temperature will not break. I am not risking anymore chemical agents with him, hes just going to have to tough it out.

Day 1 - Subject seems to be having hallucinations, speaking in an odd dialect. This is definitely a case of the Derra Plague sweeping the galaxy. We believe this subject in particular has contracted it from cross contamination during the line of duty. The fever seems to be holding at 111, but still no signs of reducing itself. At this rate his brain is going to be fried.

Day 2 - Gave the subject a sedative about thirty minuets ago, he was in severe convulsions. The temperature has dropped from 111 to 91. Upon taking his pulse and blood preesure, our staff found multiple heart beats within the subject. Possible chance that the subject was carrying an internal twin his whole life? We are not sure yet, but once the sedative takes full effect we will be running a scan to see just what is going on in there.

Day 2 - Simply amazing! The subject has developed multiple hearts, and not only that but he appears to now have two livers as well. I've seen some wild things in my medical career but this is surely the most unbelievable act in science I've ever had the chance to see. The subject also seems to have grown approximately three inches and his skin is beginning to chafe. Going to have staff get him treated with some lotions and medication for the rashes. The subjects temperature seems to have dropped lower to approximately 85 degrees and has held there. Still awaiting him to awaken.

Day 2 - Note that subject has developed poison glands which secrete from the pores! We lost two nurses today, and am now restricted to the use of droid personnel. What a nightmare, and to think this study was going so well! All the same, several interesting changes have began to happen. Upon waking up the subject seemed to be holding a sane personality, but his eyes had turned red. and his facial features seem to be changing.

Day 7 - The subject is definitely a species we have not seen much of in the galaxy, I believe they are known as the Amani. Though he still retains the memories of Colton Hatfield he is a different beast altogether now..
