The sul C`an are organized predominately as an Patriarchy, with most of the power lying in the hands of male members of the Tribe, with males holding direct influence in political leadership, social privilege and control of property. In most cases however, the Patriarch does not take interest in the day to day affairs of the individual family units that make up the Tribe, but rather oversees them all and keeps them working for the betterment of the Tribe as a whole.
