Sera is the third child of Jarek Cor and Layla Cor. Worked in Athakam MedTech under the government Tion Hegemony.
Background
Intro
Since the Empire controlled Corellia, many Corellians were recruited to serve the Emperor and arrested if they refused to join. Such was the case of Cor family where Jarek Cor father of Dracon, Jay`Den and Sera was forced into the Empire slavery.
Childhood
Life without a father
Sera lost her father at the age of barely 11 year old, he spend very little of this time with his family and for reasons Sera didn't know the Empire took him. Her brother Dracon tasked himself the role of man of the house, sending Sera to school along with Jay`Den, but didn't last long as their brother began to get into underground criminal. Firstly to get his brothers food and clothes but then going into darker actions to get money
At one of his attempts to earn some money he got separated from his two brothers and as Sera and Jay lost sight of him they both tried to find their own way home.
Being captured
The CorSec authorities recognized the two boys in the street as the offsprings of Jarek and Layla and captured Sera taking her apart from Jay`Den, who managed to escape. Being only 14 years old Sera was not of usage
for the Empire so they sold her to a local crime lord called Norgam Tak who took her as a slave for his parties and reunions but always maintaining her close to him. After she grew up Norgam began to fall in love with her, and began to use her as entertainment for him only. She started to become manipulative and spoiled, getting pretty much everything she wanted as long as she obeyed. Sera developed anger against Norgam for keeping her as a trophy and also against the empire for destroying her life and separate her from her family.
Several years later, when Norgam was already old, tired and sick one of his employees rebelled against his partners; Sera took her chance of revenge through the turmoil and killed Norgam with his own blaster on a rush of despair. She ran away realizing what she had done and found herself in the hangar of Tak’s Palace, she addressed to the nearest vehicle and without any knowledge about piloting (as she was never allowed to board a vehicle unless it was on a cargo bay) she attempted to take off out of the building but crashed into the bay and fainted afterwards.
Last slaver
She woke up a few days later in a small room, reminisced her bedroom at Norgam’s lodging. It turned out to be a prison chamber of Norgam Tak’s best friend, Zeven Khan, who saw her several times before at Tak’s parties. Zeven was informed about the incident at his friend’s place and inquired among the rubble where he found Sera and took her as slave once more. Accustomed to the lifestyle, she had no other option but to delight and charm Zeven to give her the amenities she desired. Months passed by routinely until Sera grew tired of her life of slavery, she managed to convince Zeven in taking her for a trip on his personal ship, and once on the ride she tried to learn the basics of piloting, and so the tours around Khan’s territories became frequent before Sera felt ready to fly a spacecraft on her own and she planned her escape.
Zeven had many employees running as his personal security guards, and many of them used to be assigned to look after Sera, one of the body guards called Alec Toor paid too much attention to Sera’s movements and she knew it. Occasionally Khan organized parties for Corellian festivities just like Tak used to, and Sera waited for the perfect celebration where there was not too many guests and when she saw a good opportunity to fly away, manipulative as she was, convinced Alec into helping her to kill Zeven and flee together. Toor foolishly believed her and caused a revolt by attacking Zeven, although he wasn’t as good as the rest of the body guards and got killed, fortunately for Sera that gave her time enough to implement her plan and ran to the hangar as she had done once before, but this time she had notions on what to do and boarded Zeven’s personal ship, escaping from Corellia as there were neither fond memories or family she knew.
Teenage Life
The most obvious destination after leaving Corellia was Commenor as she heard from the bounty hunters at Norgam and Zeven's palace it was the closest planet to Corellia owned by the New Republic where people could hide easily and escape from any trouble they had specially from the Empire. Sera arrived at the capital city and wandered around, being 20 years old the taverns were the main attraction. She eventually found a small gang of pirates who embraced her on their local assaults getting more ambitious with time, and eventually flew away from the planet looking for more. The pirates started to make a stock of wares they didn’t really need and decided to settle down in Calawel to sell them in the black market turning themselves in smugglers
instead. The gang began to have dealings with with ryll patches and deathsticks mainly, and Sera took the roll of distributor although she never actually used one. The CorSec intelligence however got alerted of the gang and captured them all to stop the smuggler business upon their territory, and despite Sera’s attempts to escape from the arrest, she was put into jail not before hiding a small stash of patches. Once in prison she tried to escape, but decided the best choice was to make one of the guards to fell in love with her to eventually release her or decrease her sentence. She succeeded with the manager of the prison and got lawfully released sooner. By then she just needed to get away from the planet as there was nothing left for her in Calawel, so took the patches out of concealment and quickly traded them for credits. The CorSec authorities spot her again but she managed to sneak out and jump into the first public civic transport barge she saw, using the credits she earned to pay for the trip. The barge ended up in Kal`Shebbol, a planet governed by The Krath Dynasty the planet got plenty of taverns in the main cities and she entered one where she happened to meet Andric Lucid, a tall Barabel who used to be the leader of the InterGalactic Banking Clan before it went broke and eventually dissolved. They became friends soon and as Andric explained that he was now joining a faction of one of his closest friends, Sera got interested and joined as well.
Thyrsus Sun Guards
Andric took Sera in his ship heading to Ketaris, the 5 days trip gave them time to know each other better. At their arrival to Ketaris Andric introduce her to Ayame Aevum one of the HC of Thyrsus Sun Guards, she offered her a job in her faction and after a life full of deceits she agreed to spare some time for a regular life. Sera kept in touch with Ayame as the work required, gaining her trust and soonly becoming close friends. She got separated from Andric though but had the chance to meet Crislyn Anessa Waryn who worked in TSG as well, their partnership became friendship after a few months
Several weeks later, after her first assignment Sera got news about Andric through Ayame; He was murdered, it was the first time in years she actually felt sad for someone and aimed to find the killer and get revenge on his name. Sadly her researches didn’t flourished and she got back to work for Ayame who noticed Sera’s change of mood and sent her on vacations to Corellia
Family Traits
Corellian Society
Sera arrived at Corellia assured that Ayame sent her to find clues. She knew that rumors like that flown on taverns so she entered into "Corellians Haven" where she met Vesh Oleander. Vesh talked with her about the Corellian Society and convinced her to join the society explaining it was not a faction but a group formed mainly by fellow Corellians, she didn’t need to leave her faction to be part of the society however she decided to entirely work for the Society, leaving Ayame's faction
Love at First Sight
Every now and then when Sera stepped inside the Corellians Haven she could see a man who also was part of the society, he sang once, a melody which was familiar to Sera (she thought her father could have sing it as well when she was a child) and soon got attracted to him. Sean Patrick was his name, introducing
himself to Sera in the bar they started to meet each other and became close friends shortly after. They kept in touch having often meetings at the Haven and dated for a few months before Sean proposed marriage to Sera. She happily said yes and started to plan the wedding with her Maid of Honour Crislyn and bridesmaids Ayame, and Keeya.
Wedding took place on a huge mansion called The Foothill Gardens located in Azbrian planet, Jospro sector on Year 12 Day 155, even though her bridesmaid Crislyn couldn't attend and Dracon was MIA at the time, the wedding took place after 2 months of delays. Lord Lazarus Kell, minister from the Order of Krath presided the ceremony.
The marriage was short however, as Sean suddenly got captured by his superiors Black Sun officers a few weeks after the weding. A month passed by when Sera didn't hear any news about her husband and lost the hopes that he was still alive, she tried to move on with her life but a week later she found out she was pregnant.
Re-encounter
As she introduced herself into the society, she saw among the other members (who recurrently met together at the "Corellian's Haven" bar) a man called Dracon. The name was familiar yet the pass of time made it blurred from her memories, however the resemblance to her father was noticeable.
The days passed by while she got more and more interested in that man's life until she finally saw an accessory on him that made her realize what he really was. It was an heirloom ring used in her family by males that had engraved the Cor's crest such as the pendant she used to wear (carried in her family by females). She decided to come clean with him and tell Dracon about their bond. After a few days of struggling, Dracon accepted the fact that they were brothers, so he took Sera into his faction “Smugglers Alliance” as an excuse for getting to know each other better. Dracon talked with her about Jay`Den, they both kept in touch after she got captured by the Empire, and they were working in the smuggling faction. Sera was already involved with the smuggling way of life so it didn’t took her too long to get along but after her experience on Thyrsus Sun Guards, going back to smuggling was not part of Sera’s plans. It was hard for her to make the decision to leave the Smugglers Alliance mainly because her two brothers were there, but at least now they would not lose track of each other again
The society fell down when its leader Vesh Oleander went MIA and his co-funder Corran Halacon got captured and killed. Sera lost contact with members of the CS and dropped her duties with them in search for a new start.
New Faction
Intro
Sera's close friend Crislyn (Crissy) introduced her to her government Tion Hegemony where she was working on its medical affiliated faction called Athakam MedTech, Crissy was appointed as 2IC and asked Sera to join her. However she had no knowledge about medicine as she never finished her school, but saw an opportunity to grow within the government's construction department and joined shortly after.
Clan Muintir
Crislyn, who was already part of the extended family of Sera, talked to her about a clan she formed (with her sister Keeya Maelii Waryn and a friend of hers) back when she worked in Keer Union, it was a side faction of Keer at the time but then after it's dissolution, the Clan Muintir became more an extended family group than a faction.
After Sera became part of the Clan, she followed Crislyn's path and started studying medicine on Lorrad.
Athakam MedTech
Sera joined Cryslin in ATM while continued her carrer as doctor, under the command of Crislyn who became leader shortly after. A few months passed by and Sera earned the title of Bioengineer, their work continued to expand, growing cities in Argai and producing medical supplies for the galaxy. Her continous work coupled with her friendship with Crislyn brought her the position as Second in Command, position which carried a lot of new responsabilities that would soonly be found to interfere with her personal life
Imperial Union
Soon after Sera became second in command she found out Tion was in alliance with the Galactic Empire as well as several other governments in a group called Imperial Union, this news were not very pleasant for her due to her past with the Empire, however she thought It'd be better to overcome her feelings about the GE with her feelings about helping out Crislyn and eventually accepted being part of the alliance. Being in a high position within Tion Hegemony her duties with the Union were as much important. But her personal life came first, and taking care of her baby was priority. Not long before the death of Sera, Tion outgrew the alliance with the Imperial Union, and as such, formed a new alliance alongside the Trade Federation and Mandalore, dubbed the Galactic Concordiate. Although, Sera did not have much participation amongst the inards of the new group, due to her untimely and tragic death.
Path of the Force
First encounter
Sera was in a mission to pick up materials in Dellalt for the construction of facilities for AMT, a last mission before going in a Leave of Absence to take care of her pregnancy. It brought Sera to meet Dayth Cordal, a force user working in Tion, he came close to her cause he sensed a powerful source of Force emmanating from her. He told her she was force sensitive as well and thought her a few ways of meditation to get cling to her powers, in a few hours they worked with her to embrace her force nature but Dayth was on his own business and had to leave Sera to herself. She wanted to stay in low grid, mainly cause this behaviour ran through her veins, that's why she taught herself on her own way through meditation instead of searching for a Master
Training
Having to deal with her studies of medicine and work for Athakam MedTech gave not too much time for force training to Sera, she was in great disadvantage by not having a Master however she didn't waste her time on hyperspeed travels and used it to meditate and practice. One day she stumbled in Rangorah due to a mistake on the navigation comp calculation and she found a small village of native unknown species. They had a high Force nexus nearby their village and she was attracted by it, Sera found herself judged as invader and was condemned to walk through a maze that lied inside a cave. The natives knew no one could ever leave the maze once they entered and threw Sera inside, certain of her fate. With no light to see the path through the tunnels, the Force was her only guide and having no other choice but to succeed on the maze she adventured into the darkness. Strangely, she found a rock inside the cave where the Force was strong, Sera took it thinkig it might be the Force nexus from the village and followed her way. At the end, after several hours, she got out of the cave through an exit on the other side of the entrance just to find out that the "rock" she picked up was in fact an holocron, although she couldn't determine whether it was Jedi or Sith.
The villagers, shocked on Sera's results from the cave, considered her a superior being and prepared a ritual in her honour. This ritual grew a high consentration of Force power on Sera given by the natives. Once the ritual finished and Sera was free to leave she traveled away to her true destination, but on the travel the curiosity about the holocron took over and she activated it to find out its source.
Tràkata Combat
The holocron that Sera found on Rangorah was a training on a special combat style of the lightsaber called "Tràkata", Sera learned from the holocron that the technique involves practical combat and deception, rather than single minded determination or endless patience, adn due to it's nature, it is rarely used by the Sith, since the power of the Sith comes from passion rather than practicality, and neither is it commonly used by the Jedi, because of their unwillingness to rely on deception; and since Sera followed none of Sith or Jedi philosophy she got interested, even obsessed, with the technique and philosofy of Tràkata.
Sera didn't own a lightsaber because she was lacking the knowledge of doing so as she had no Master to tech her; the holocron however had a preparation for a lightsaber that could work better in Trakata than the usual builts. It took several months before Sera could gather the materials to craft one, some more to actually craft it, and a few others to master some Tràkata techniques but it helped her with the meditation and perception of her own power within the Force.
Tragic Ending
Towards her unnanounced retirement from Tion Hegemony in order to focus on her training with the Force, Sera isolated herself within a vessel with limited access, only known to her close friends and family. It is unknown exactly how it happened but the information of her location infiltrated to her brother's enemies, who seeked revenge on the family.
The ambush took place on her ship while she was resting, allowing the coward thugs to assassinate her on her sleep instead of a direct comfrontation. Both Sera and her son Duncan were murder that night. The date remains unknown, as their bodies were found months after the assassination was committed.
