Biography

Early Years

"To be honest I don't really remember much myself. I got on with my brother quite well I seem to remember, though I haven't seen him since I left Cona"
— Javin Zittoun

Little is known about Javin's early past. He was brought up in a somewhat poor background. His parents didn't have very good jobs, and it is assumed Javin's childhood was rough. As an infant Javin always talked about exploring space to find himself a proper life. Sure enough, as soon as he became an adult he left Cona, telling his family not to worry and promising them that he will be happy. Zittoun wanted to explore, and to become successful. He found himself roaming around space for what seemed like months, looking for a purpose. He began doing small bits of work for various people. He eventually got a good enough income to live properly.

Theln and the Cartel

Searching for anyone who could help him become successful, Javin found himself talking to Sovan Theln. Sovan began slightly irritable with Javin but their friendship rapidly improved. Theln invited Javin to his faction - the Hyper-Communications Cartel. Javin leapt on this chance and joined the communications service with open arms. He thought this to be his chance to start living how he wanted to. Once he arrived at the training facility, he met a Muun named Jasen Tzark who was in a similar situation to himself. They became great friends. However, soon after Javin was finally getting comfortable, he realized maybe this wouldn't work out. Sovan and Kain Elderan were having common arguments. They both were leaders and both wanted different things to happen. Javin decided this was likely to end badly. Sure enough, Sovan was removed from leadership. Javin didn't want to hang around in HCC for much longer. He didn't seem to be doing much and Sovan had gone. Sovan was arrested for multiple reasons Javin didn't think were fair, and he was taken hostage on a ship. Javin feared for Sovan's life. Sovan was rescued by Lilith Delcroix, owner of Dark Skies Gearworks

Dark Skies Gearworks

"I seemed to have come to the Cartel at the completely wrong time. Joining up with DSG seemed the best option for me. Sovan was there, and everyone seemed very friendly. They helped me out a lot."
— Javin Zittoun

Zittoun decided to follow Sovan to Dark Skies Gearworks and left the communications Cartel, which soon after disbanded. The job involved delivering things and recycling facilities, which Javin enjoyed He felt more welcomed in DSG. He was doing job after job and time flew by for Zittoun, before he knew it Sovan had left again but this time for personal reasons. Javin decided to stay. He couldn't help but feel like he could still be doing something bigger. Zittoun was then given an amazing opportunity. Sovan Theln had contacted him and talked to him about creating a business together. It was first called the traders guild.

"DSG is a great place to work and Lilith is an amazing owner. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a job. I left because I couldn't ignore the opportunity I was given."
— Javin Zittoun

Ardenian Drive Yards

Sovan's idea quickly became reality. With a streak of good luck and help from Sovan's many contacts, the traders guild was born. However the idea had changed considerably. It would be a ship-selling company, called Ardenian Drive Yards. Everything seemed to be going perfectly. Javin couldn't believe his luck, his family would be extremely proud. Zitoun thought it would be a good idea if Sovan led and he was second in command. He thought himself very inexperienced compared to Theln.

An unexpected turn-around

Things were still going well, until Sovan suddenly announced he was leaving. The reasons were unknown. Theln offered leadership to Javin, but he declined. Javin knew he wouldn't be able to manage the group effectively. They decided to pass on ownership to a trusted company owned by a long friend of Sovan's. They were Veritas Press. Zittoun had a bad feeling about this, but accepted it all the same. As to Javin's suprise, Veritas allowed him to stay second in command, though it seemed an uneasy friendship to begin with. The first month or two with Veritas were very messy. Zittoun acknowledged VP were a capable and organised company, but it didn't seem this way. There were about 3 leadership changes in the first 2 months. Finar Ambrose seemed to be the one staying. Fortunately Javin got on with the hutt quite well.
