Mitth`oro`Nuruodo, known among the Chiss by his core name 'Thoron' was an official in both the Galactic Empire and Chiss Ascendancy. His capture by the New Republic was one of the major events following the Battle of Csilla.

Career

According to New Republic records, Thoron appears in galactic records circa 6 CGT as an advisor to Imperial Moff Kirov Qel Droma, then Emperor Vodo Bonias. When the Chiss Ascendancy is declared in 8 CGT, Thoron joins. However, Thoron returns to the Galactic Empire following Isoldor Storm's assassination, and is named Moff of the Kuat Oversector.

Battle of Csilla and Capture

During the Battle of Csilla House Nuroudo warriors and workers were killed or captured by New Republic forces. The New Republic did that on the justification that they were giving support to a declared enemy, while House Nuroudo would insist that this was an unprovoked attack. In late year 10, New Republic Admiral Frollo the White engineered an operation that successfully captures Thoron by luring him with the promise of returning those captured workers and warriors.
