History
On Year 8 Day 41, the Rebel Alliance and the SoroSuub Conglomerate declared their intended merger to the galaxy, announcing the forthcoming formation of the New Republic. It was a historic merger of a scale the galaxy had never before seen, one that promised to form a united front for freedom and topple the Empire’s reign of tyranny. Following the wake of the government merger, it was decided to similarly merge two affiliated medical factions into a single, united organisation for the New Republic: the Rebel Alliance's Liberty Medical Center, and Riviera Medical of the SoroSuub Conglomerate. This organisation would provide medical care and services to all the citizens of the New Republic, as well as offer aid and comfort throughout the galaxy to all who needed them, especially those under the thumb of the Galactic Empire. Republic Medical was officially established with Miko Niepe as its first CEO.
Mission
To provide quality medical services and products galaxy-wide, in particular, the rendering of medical aid and supplies to the New Republic, its military, nationalised and allied factions, and members of the neutral and friendly public whether in times of peace, civil emergency or war.

RepMed as it is known today was born of a merger between Liberty Medical Centre and Riviera Medical in Year 8. Structure and Administration
Republic Medical and the New Republic
RepMed is considered the Health department of the New Republic's Ministry of State, reporting to the Secretary of State and Minister of State. As RepMed is a nationalised faction of the NR, all members of RepMed are accorded citizenship of the New Republic, as per the Constitution of the New Republic.

Management
The Executive Staff is responsible for overseeing all the functional, financial, and strategic operations of the faction, and represent RepMed in its dealings with external parties:
- Chief Executive Officer / NR Administrator of Health
- Chief Operating Officer / NR Secretary of Health
The Executive Staff, together with the Director and Associate Directors of the various departments, are collectively referred to as 'Management'.
