A constitution is a legal document defining a set of fundamental principles or established precedents on how an organization or government is ruled. The Galactic Constitution of the Galactic Republic is the earliest example of such document written over twenty-five millenia ago to unify the Core Worlds and was believed to have existed throughout the Republic's existence with revisions and modifications at times, such as the Ruusan Reformation a millenia ago.[1]
