Biography

Early life

Geoff was born Geoffrey Jackson to his parents who gave him up just before a religious pilgrimage around the galaxy. As a young child, Geoffrey was often curious - watching the movement of ships day in and day out. In his teenage years, he often wondered onto starships to look at the details of the intricate systems and fuel his curiosities.

Moving Forward

Geoff tried pursuing a career with the New Republic, but because of his background on Coruscant, the government "lost" his application and he resumed working for his foster parents. After reaching the age of 20, Geoff used his hard-earned savings and left Coruscant in search of his true family. Geoff boarded his shuttle and eventually reached the Orus Sector, governed by the Trade Federation. Low on credits and traveling with only the clothes on his back, Geoff reached out to the government who graciously offered him a position in their Logistics department.

As a Pilot, Geoff was tasked - for a brief period - with moving items, ships, and personnel around Trade Federation territory. A few months passed and Geoff, now with credits in his pocket, resumed the search for his parents. The credits gathered from his employment with the Trade Federation were then spent on a new holopad, which Geoff used to discover where his parents' pilgrimage was headed - the Outer Rim. Geoff spent the remainder of his salary on a long-distance shuttle trip to the Modell Sector in Avance space. Again out of credits, he hooked up with Avance's primary ship supplier, Rendili StarDrive, in hopes that he could eventually earn enough credits for his own vessel.

Into the Reach

With his first three months salary, Geoff was able to purchased his first ship - a YT-1300, named "The Illusive". He spent weeks traveling around the various outer rim territories all the way from Modell to the edges of the Gordian Reach sector, eventually meeting a somewhat friendly dug named Dakha Rednax. Rednax was, at the time, the President of the Lamborari corporation, the finest producer of ships in the galaxy. Although Geoff had previously worked for a shipwright, he had a sense of importance while working in Lamborari. Even the most simple tasks for Geoff had been some of the most important for his superiors, Rednax and Bossive Ketwol.

Five months after first joining Lamborari, Geoffrey had accumulated a decent wealth of 45 million credits, enough to purchase more ships and setup a new corporation, with the help of his new best friend.

Back to the Core

And thus the Colonial Banking Network, originally the Torque Banking Corporation, was born. With the help of Dakha Rednax, Daylen Rione, and Kilian Delmarco, Geoff had finally achieved one of his life goals - to own and operate a major galactic corporation. Following the death of Rednax, Geoffrey fell into a depression passing many of his responsibilities onto the bank directors, Daylen and Kilian. Two months later, Kilian resigned her appointment and Daylen followed suite shortly after. Being left with his Director of Security - Anton Paulus - and his Chief Technical Advisor - Dash Banem - he looked into the possibility of selling out to Mr. Vildras and his financial corporation.

Galactic Trek

Slipping into a further depression after he watched friend after friend desert him, Geoffrey set up his autopilot to circle the outer rim of the galaxy in hope of a new community and a new job opportunity. One day, he received a communique from an acquaintance, Gabriel Kaine, and set course for Gabriel's headquarters. On his way, Geoff stopped by Malastare to visit Rednax' grave and stock up on supplies. While there, he was approached by... a stranger.

The Stranger

Upon browsing the various market stalls, Geoffrey was approached by Tavarius Kalia a mutual friend of Rednax and also an acquaintance of Gabriel. The two hit it off, telling their stories of Rednax and themselves. During their conversations, Kalia had told him of a brotherhood he had formed many months ago. It was a different group, living outside the boundaries of law and life - away from "Outsiders" but together as a collective.

The Sodality

Kalia agreed to join Geoffrey on a lengthy trip to meet Gabriel and his family. During the trek, they conversed heavily and decided to get the band of brothers together and form into a new Sodality - the Wayfarers Sodality. Built on the foundation of friendship and cooperation, the Sodality is "anchored to the stars and nothing else".

Wayfarers Unite

Kalia and Geoff finally reached their destination, being able to meet with the Kaine family: Gabriel, Reina, Lilith, Dagon, and Gideon. They spoke a great deal with them, sharing their beliefs and aspirations. Gideon, a middle-aged Kaine, was fed up with his corporate life and decided to join us in this adventure. Thus, the Wayfarers' Admiralty was formed.
