Biography

Early Life

Toza Zenn was an Ithorian male from the planet Ithor. He was the son of infamous bounty hunter Fell Zenn and his wife, Sini'phol Zenn. However, his mother died in child birth; causing his father to despise him.

Rite of Passage

By the time Toza was eighteen years old, he was an accomplished gunslinger and pilot and had earned the respect of his father. As was tradition in his family, Zenn and his father were to be abandoned on a planet with only the clothes on their back and a flare gun for three months; this was to prove his manhood to the rest of his clan. Toza and his father were dropped off on the moon Wasskah; where they had to survive by hunting the most dangerous animals on the planet. However, little did they know that they would be the ones being hunted.

A month passed on the moon, Toza and his father had hunted many creatures and had established a well-fortified camp. However, whilst out on a patrol, Toza came across a Trandoshan hunting party which took him hostage and demanded the location of his father, Fell. After being tortured, Toza gave into their demands and revealed the location of his camp and subsequently, his father. The Trandoshans launched a surprise attack on the camp and captured Fell Zenn but not before he took down a dozen hungry lizard-men. Toza and his father were brought before the Trandoshan clan leader, Ruko Val, who after beating both Toza and Fell within an inch of their lives, impaled Fell Zenn through his heart - killing him. The Trandoshan let Toza go into the wild so he could return to his herd and tell them what happened and to spread the message of Ruko Val.

After being released, Toza returned to the ransacked camp and signalled his herd to pick him up. Upon returning to the ship-alone, he told his herd what happened on the surface; many argued to go back and wipe out the Trandoshan clan whilst others refused to believe Toza altogether. With Fell Zenn dead, Toza's uncle, Ro'phor Zenn took control of the herd. Ro'phor despised his brother and nephew and saw this as an opportunity to get rid of his only opposition to his leadership; Ro'phor claimed that Toza had killed his father in order to rise to leader of the herd and as a result banished Toza from his herd and Ithor. Toza escaped to Tatooine shorty after.

The Hutt Cartel

Exiled from his herd and stripped of everything he ever had, Toza was filled with the guilt of his father's death and the rage of his uncle's betrayal. Unsure where to go next, Toza drank away his sorrows in the most filthy hive of scum and villainy he could find. Toza decided he needed to start anew, he wouldn't let this be what his father's legacy had become. With this revelation, Toza boarded the next ship out of Mon Espa. Unsure of where he was going, Toza felt good; he had a new purpose and he was going to fulfil it for his father's sake.

2 weeks later, Toza arrived in the city of Nal Butta on the planet Maltha Obex. Here he saw the symbol of The Hutt Cartel plastered on the side of a building. Toza had accompanied his father on business deals with the Hutts but always thought they were greedy, back-stabbing criminals. However, he had heard that they have recently come under new management; Voragga the Hutt was a revered Hutt for bringing the Hutt cartel back from near extinction after the mistakes of his predecessors, there's a reason they call him 'The Exalted One'. Toza contacted Rupert Havok, an agent for the Hutt Cartel, who provided him with a YT-1300 model Corellian freighter, called 'The Laughing Sullustan'. Toza shrugged off the peculiar name, he didn't want to question his superiors so soon. Once onboard, Toza met his co-pilot Reelo Bek, a Rodian bounty hunter also employed by Havok. Once in orbit, Toza and Reelo were contacted by Havok again, who dispatched them to the Quarantined planet of Derra IV to pickup a weapon shipment-easy enough. Derra IV was infected by the metamorphosis plague which made this a very risky mission for new recruits, but being an Ithorian, Toza was less susceptible to the plague. Toza still without any real gear was gifted ten million credits by Rupert Havok, Toza was astonished by this amount and wondered why anyone would give away this much money to a complete stranger. Perhaps Rupert saw something in Toza but we will never know. With his new found fortune, Toza was contacted by Giorgina Xyth who advised Toza which gear would suit his needs, referring him to the Trade Federation.

Toza put his credits to good use procuring dual blaster pistols that would become iconic throughout his career, as well as a heavy shotgun and Ithorian combat armour. After some initial confusion and a run in with the Trade Federation trade hub b authorities, he departed the Asrat sytsem and set off for Derra IV.

Derra IV

Toza and Reelo arrived in the Derra system to behold the blockade surrounding the planet; hundreds upon hundreds of ships and turbolaser defense stations. In any other ship, the crew of 'The Laughing Sullustan' would be screwed but Toza wasn't prepared to let The Hutt Cartel and his new friend Rupert Havok down. Toza and Reelo raced down to the surface weaving inbetween the blockade whilst being barraged by every ship within 1,000 miles but they had the fastest ship in the sector and were determined to accomplish their mission.

They reached the surface; after receiving a little damage, they "landed" in a foggy swamp full of creatures that reminded Toza of his time on Wasskah. Toza put his emotions behind him and continued on. Toza spent the next 2 years hunting the creatures of Derra and carrying out tasks on behalf of the The Hutt Cartel.

Malastare

After two years of working for the Hutt on Derra, Toza was then assigned to escort a Hutt Prison transport to the planet Malastare. During his flight to Malastare, Toza had plenty of time to ponder his place in the Galaxy and what he wanted to do. Upon arriving on the Dug homeworld, he decided that he wanted to explore different ventures in the vast galaxy. So he and Reelo bid farewell to The Hutt Cartel whilst showing his gratitude for everything they did for him. Toza and Reelo left for space and plotted a random course and jumped to hyperspace...
