Voragga Zuuma Ajurr, also known as Voragga the Hutt and fawningly called the "Exalted One," is the perennial ruler of the Hutt Cartel. He is a former adviser to its defunct predecessor, the Hutt Council, and one of the most disreputable Hutt crime lords in the galaxy. Filthy and corpulent, Voragga allegedly governs an extensive criminal sultanate with an iron fist from his opulent alcazar on the backwater world of Reltooine. Renowned for his insatiable carnal appetite and his penchant for lolly-licking Twi'leki slave girls, Voragga is a shrewd businessman and fancies himself to be a formidable voice among the Hutt clans. He is not known for his hospitality and, like all Hutts, he delights in cruelty.

Biography

A definitive biography of His Excellency, Voragga Zuuma Ajurr, is difficult to assemble due to both fragmented Imperial records and a dwindling number of eye-witnesses. As a young Hutt, Voragga purportedly resembled a worm-like slug, with a legless, tapered body coated in slime. Even at an early age, he had a monomaniacal obsession to leave his oily mark upon the pages of galactic history. As such, Voragga quickly surrounded himself with an obsequious cadre of cowardly Rodian henchmen, bumbling Gamorrean goons, and ruthless Trandoshan blasters-for-hire. Thanks to a profitable alliance with Rahm Zarkov's fearsome Lumini Pirates in Year 2, he was able to expand his operations to include multiple planets. As his infamy grew, he became a board member of the notorious Hutt Council in Year 4 and, reportedly, was the strategic mastermind behind the Council's bloody feud against Dark Prince Qel Dar's Black Sun crime syndicate. The feud ended when Qel Dar resigned as leader of Black Sun and retired with his favorite concubine to the Inner Rim.[1]

With the gradual encroachment of the Galactic Empire and the Eidola Pirates into Hutt Space circa Year 5, the Hutt Council began to fall into ruin and disrepair. Within two years, the Council led by Angobba Desilijic Lucar lost its power and virtually disappeared. This decline changed several years later with the formal emergence of the Zuuma kajidic led by Voragga himself. Unlike more timid organizations, the Zuuma kajidic was not afraid to dirty its three-fingered hands by partaking in any and all unsavory endeavors. Although a smaller Hutt clan, the Zuuma kajidic maintains pleasure dens and safe houses on various planets. They also dabble in the arms business and supposedly control a tasty portion of the spice trade.

An ambitious administrator, Voragga greedily assumed leadership of the Hutt Cartel on Year 10 Day 60. Under his auspices, the Hutt Council was quietly re-established in a hidden fortress and the Cartel itself reinvigorated. Joining Voragga in this endeavor was a distant cousin and cunning associate Tobba the Hutt, the dignified leader of the Nokko kajidic. Together, the Zuuma and Nokko kajidics struck a business partnership, and restored the Hutt Cartel to its rightful place as the gluttonous parasite of galactic trade. However, both Voragga and his cousin Tobba would never condescend to managing the fatiguing day-to-day operations of their organization. Instead, they hired an underpaid majordomo to do so.
