Following the wake of the government merger, it was decided to similarly merge two affiliated medical factions into a single, united organisation for the New Republic: the Rebel Alliance's Liberty Medical Center, and Riviera Medical of the SoroSuub Conglomerate. This organisation would provide medical care and services to all the citizens of the New Republic, as well as offer aid and comfort throughout the galaxy to all who needed them, especially those under the thumb of the Galactic Empire. Republic Medical was officially established with Miko Niepe as its first CEO.
