Previously Aratech, The Antarian Rangers and Outer Rim Excavations had operated as separate entities. But as the years wore on it became more efficient to combine their services into a single service. Thus on Year 25 Day 91 TAR and ORE were absorbed into Aratech and then Aratech was renamed The Antarian Rangers becoming the third such in the history of the galaxy. It was picked to keep Aratech as the base structure because of the datacards it held rather than one of the other shells.
Shortly after the consolidation the longtime Aratech CEO Ku`Bakai Roche was supplanted by The Antarian Rangers CEO Mador Anami.
