Csapla'ndre'saeni, more commonly known by her core name Andresa (/ɑnˈdrɛsə/ ahn-DRE-sah), is a Chiss Female currently serving the Chiss Ascendancy as a Lieutenant in the Chiss Defence Force. Alongside her military service, she is the Matriarch of House Csapla, an ancient Chiss house with a long and distinguished history within the Ascendancy. Prior to her return to Chiss service, Andresa spent many years in the Galactic Empire, where she served within the Emerald Regional Government, gaining extensive experience in administration, governance, and strategic planning.

Even after the conflict had ended, her continued deployments aboard the Vigilant Horizon and later expeditionary assignments beyond Chiss space left little opportunity for meaningful contact. During the rare occasions she returned to Csilla, Laria increasingly found herself speaking to someone who outwardly resembled the sister she remembered, yet whose emotional distance made genuine connection difficult. Though affection between them never disappeared, years of separation and Andresa's increasingly stoic demeanour created a divide that neither sister fully understood how to bridge. That distance began to close only after the sisters relocated together to Imperial space. During the lengthy process of obtaining Imperial citizenship and establishing new lives on Coruscant, they once again relied heavily upon one another. Removed from the expectations of House Csapla and forced to navigate an unfamiliar society together, the sisters gradually rebuilt the closeness they had enjoyed before the war. Laria's subsequent employment within the Coruscant branch of the Emerald Regions Government further strengthened their relationship, allowing them to spend more time together than they had in over a decade.
Their renewed bond was tested once more when Andresa was reassigned to the Kuat Oversector as part of an Imperial labour redistribution programme. Although both accepted the separation as an unavoidable consequence of public service, it nevertheless represented another painful interruption after years spent repairing their relationship. Unlike the earlier years, however, the sisters remained in regular contact, secure in the knowledge that the foundation they had rebuilt was no longer so easily shaken. Following Andresa's resignation from Imperial service and return to Csilla, the sisters found themselves reunited permanently for the first time since childhood. Laria became one of Andresa's closest confidants during the restoration of House Csapla, offering counsel, support, and an often more measured perspective to balance her sister's unwavering sense of duty. While Andresa remained the House's principal leader, Laria evolved into one of the individuals whose opinion she valued above almost all others.
Despite their reconciliation, not every wound had fully healed. Years of separation and fundamentally different life experiences had left lasting marks upon both sisters, and there remained occasions where old tensions resurfaced. Andresa's uncompromising sense of duty and tendency to suppress her emotions could still frustrate Laria, while Laria's willingness to challenge her sister's decisions occasionally rekindled disagreements reminiscent of their younger years. Yet unlike in the past, these moments no longer drove them apart. Both had grown to understand the reasons behind the other's perspective, approaching disagreements with patience rather than resentment. Though their relationship was still one of continual healing rather than complete restoration, each passing year saw the bond between them strengthened by mutual understanding, shared responsibility, and an unspoken determination never to allow circumstance to separate them in the same way again.

During her years of service within the Emerald Regional Government, Andresa came to regard Grand Moff Draelor Nah'utal, more commonly known as Darth Chaakat, with profound professional respect. Although the two rarely worked together directly due to the considerable differences in their positions and responsibilities, Andresa followed the Grand Moff's stewardship of the Emerald Region with great interest. She viewed his administration as one characterised by stability, competent governance, and a willingness to strengthen the Region through careful reform rather than unnecessary spectacle, qualities that closely aligned with her own philosophy of public service.
As Andresa advanced through the Emerald Regional Government, she came to appreciate the immense complexity involved in administering one of the Empire's largest Oversectors. Observing the Grand Moff's leadership reinforced many of the administrative principles she had adopted throughout her own career: that effective government was built upon discipline, merit, and the quiet competence of those willing to perform their duties without seeking personal recognition. While their interactions remained infrequent, Andresa considered Draelor one of the finest examples of Imperial civil leadership she had encountered, and she would later draw upon many of the same principles while rebuilding House Csapla.
One of the few occasions in which their professional paths directly intersected concerned the appointment of a commanding officer for the Mtoni Kurokas. Upon learning that Draelor sought a capable captain to assume command of the vessel, Andresa recommended Csapla'vant'zvarrik, a naval officer from one of House Csapla's lesser branches. Having first served alongside Zvarrik aboard the Vigilant Horizon during the closing years of the Five Year War, Andresa had observed firsthand his calm professionalism, exacting standards, and unwavering commitment. Though his experience had largely been limited to convoy escorts and corvette operations, she believed his judgement and temperament made him well suited to the responsibilities of commanding a far larger warship.
Her recommendation carried less the weight of political favour than that of personal conviction. Andresa's reputation for measured judgement and reluctance to endorse individuals without cause ensured that the recommendation was received seriously, and Zvarrik ultimately entered Draelor's service as captain of the Mtoni Kurokas. The appointment stood as one of the few direct professional collaborations between the two administrators, reflecting the trust that had developed between them despite their otherwise separate duties. Even after resigning from Imperial service, Andresa continued to hold the Grand Moff in high regard.
