Black Sun Family Council

The Black Sun Family Council, led by the Underlord, is comprised of nine Black Sun Family members, appointed to the rank of Vigo (Old Tionese for "nephew"). Of the nine Vigo seats, three are reserved for Shadow Vigos and primarily advisory Vigos, while six Vigo seats serve as the heads of Black Sun departments. In its entirety, the Family Council operates as an extension of the Underlord's authority. Therefore, they have absolute authority within the Black Sun syndicate, advise the Underlord in all syndicate affairs, and assist him in the implementation of his duties.

Specialization Titles

The assigned Vigos are titled as follows, each representing specialized management of Black Sun sects:

The Vigo of Defense is responsible for the military development of Black Sun. In effect, this person would be entrusted with the militaristic development of Black Sun, including all major defensive decisions. As the Blades and other militaristic endeavors are under development, this position is not currently filled.

Vigo of Industry

The Vigo of Industry is entrusted with the management of the production aspects of the Collective & Family. This position is to be the penultimate authority on production decisions. Production staff will be expected to discuss their ideas, questions, and concerns with them. Datacard deals, timelines, and any further productions decisions relevant to the syndicate will be beneath their watchful eye.

The Vigo of Engineering & Infrastructure is responsible for the daily operations of Hyrotii and all construction/development efforts. This Vigo is entrusted with all construction for Black Sun, and the raw materials necessary to support those endeavors. It is the penultimate authority on how, when, and with which resources our construction efforts will be completed.

The Vigo of Marauri is responsible for the development of the Force within Black Sun. The Vigo is entrusted with all major Force decisions and actions made by the syndicate. They are responsible for organizing and developing the Force within Black Sun, in the advancement of the Marauri identity.

The Vigo of Negotiation is responsible for the development of Black Sun's legitimate diplomatic agreements and relationships. They are entrusted with the legitimization of Black Sun as an Imperial Union industrial behemoth, via public relations and diplomatic alignments.

The Vigo of Shadows is responsible for the galactic operations of Black Watch. They are entrusted with the duty of serving as Black Sun's eyes and ears. The processing and surveillance of all internal members and external threats are his domain. This Vigo is the master of Black Sun's shadows.

Shadow Vigos and non-departmental Vigos are responsible for unbounded policy input within all aspects of Black Sun. While other Vigos have specific roles in executing departments of Black Sun, generalized Vigos are known for their overarching knowledge in any section of Black Sun. Their contributions are far and wide.
