Baron Dominic von Black (born Year -11 Day 251), known to his friends as Dom, is a Family Member of Mecrosa, as well as a Aristocratic Mando'ad, by conversion, and a galactic socialite, by lifestyle. He is more notably known by his many friendships, more importantly by his three "Brothers", Count Alexander von Ismay, Dac Kain, and Altair Lopez.
Biography
Life as a Black
Dominic von Black grew up on the sprawling, planet-wide metropolis known as Coruscant. His family were wealthy merchants who ran the space lanes from most notable words such as Naboo, Hapes, and Kuat to Coruscant. After his grandfather died, his father Dmitri took over as Baron of the House, and with it he began to change the way the House operated, mainly going from luxury goods to Drugs and Slaves.
As Dominic grew older his family grew weathier, his father grew estranged from his mother as he began to drink more and began to throw estravigant parties onboard his many Luxury Space Colonies. He began making business dealings with the Hutts, more particularly Locago the Hutt. At this time Dominic spent much of his time away from his home and away from his many tutors his father had hired.
Year 5 Day 251, on Dominic's birthday his father presented him with a S-Swoop, and with that Swoop bike, Dominic's life began to change. Instead of sticking to the Noble sections of the planet, he began to venture into the slums and more seedier places, often engaging in swoop bike races and drinking. It was here as well that he got his first taste of the spice drug called Ryll.
On Dominic's 18th birthday he met a man that would change his life, and his future. The man was a Mandalorian and a Mercenary for a Outer Rim group. He left his father and House to become a better man, by doing so he was forwith disowned by his father.
Mercenary way of Life
Little is known about Dominic's life between Year 7 and Year 14, its said he visited many worlds along the Outer Rim, as well as many Hidden System's fighting along side his brothers-in-arms, his "Vode". During these years Dominic learned alot of skills, mostly about war through strategy and tactical, Weaponry and explosives, but he also learned vocational skills such as languages, and labored skills such as Mining and industrial science. During his vocational training he learned Mando'a, Huttese, and Sith, no one knows how Dominic learned Sith and he's never talked about it.
Mandalore
Early in to Year 14 Dominic joined the Mandalorian Government of Mandalore, he was full of pride and had great hope in his stay there. He met lots of people, many "Vode", and one friend, who wpuld later become a member of his House, Mesh`la Daryc. He joined Mandalore hoping to better himself in his Culture and his Militaristic way of life, he even went as far as opening a Tapcaf called the Oyu'baat, in which he shares ownership with Mesh`la Daryc. It was at this Tapcaf that he me Kathlen Stewart, someone he ended up courting, but later found out she was pregnant, and still in love with he biyfriend Jaster Gav, she broke the dating off with Dom, and theyve remained friends since.
Due to stagnation, Dominic left Mandalore to venture off on his own into the Galaxy. He still remains peaceful ties sith the Government and even offers assistance when he can.
From East Ghost Nebula
To fill his pockets with real currency, Dominic entered a agreement with Pirate Captain Avicii Tempah to join his Pirate group Ellipsis. Here he met another friend, the second-in-command Uli-ah Gafsa. It is unknown at this time to what extent or work Dominic engaged with in with the Pirate Group Ellipsis or why he left.
Return to the House of Black
Year 14 Day 151, Dominic's father Dmitri passed away. Upon his return to Coruscant he found his families House in disrepair, and anything of value stripped away by banks and money loaners. Dominic's father's autopsy came back negative and that he died of natural causes, but he did have a teaces of Ryll and a high blood alcohol content in his system, he died at age 52.
With Dominic returning to his home with nothing but the clothes on his back, and a few ships. He turned to his his best friend, Underlord Alexander von Ismay. Thanks to his friend he was able to purchase a substancial amount of land on the Planet Feriae Junction, in the Thesme Sector. Owning as many as 10 cities upon the planet Dominic only kept the beat businesses for himself, and began to resale the rest. Originally owning over 1/5th of the planet, Dominic piecemealed the land to various friends for a small profit, including his past love connection Kathlen Stewart
At the same time, Dominic heard the call of Family, his other friend Dac Kain wished him to join his Mercenary Group Mecrosa, and there is where he currently resides.
Personal Characteristics
Lifestyle
It is quite often said by his mando'ad vode, that Dominic lives a "Aruetii" Lifestyle, he is often fpund in many Clubs and Taverns across the galaxy, or at many social events, mainly at his Brother Alexander's House estate, Casterly Rock. Though he rarely drinks to excess due to him military mindframe, you will always find Dominic drinking expensive liquors, as well as partaking in Ryll. Though not overly flambouyant, he is often subtle in his luxuries.
While having offtime from work, you may always find Dominic fixing or washing his Air-2 Swoop Bike Ne'tra Dala or the "Lady Black", it was a gift from his Brother Alexander on becoming Baron of House Black. Because of his excentric love of swoop bikes and his extensive knowledge of them, he has made many friends in the Dark Star Hellions, but not always agreeing of what they portray of the Swoop Culture.
Personality
Dominic has a very laid back, non-dramatic personality, he detests drama and often removes himself from dramatic situations. Although he was raised in a Imperialistic House, he did not adopt all their views as his own. Although he does not believe in Racial Equality, he does believe in racial equality on the battlefield. It is often debated amongst his friends and family, but Dominic has the opinion "Women" do not belong on the battlefield but in the Battle Camp, which often annoys his vode and at the time Girlfriends.
With Dominic's high intelligence, he often portrays himself as an idiotic person, when in reality he is making you believe this of him so that he doesnt have to be smart all the time, or that he's making you believe hes stupid when infact he's setting you up. Often egocentrical Dominic takes pride in himself and all he's accomplished in his lifetime.
At the core of Dominic's personality, there is only one Loyalty, and that is FAMILY. Dominic adopted his brother's crime syndicate mantra and adapted it to his beliefs. "Family. Honor. Glory. Through Family we are Loved. With Honor are we Respected. From Glory, we become Immortal."
Style
Dominic has many styles he wears, mostly youll find him wearing his armour when working, but when he's out socializing he has many different degrees of dress. Formally youll see Dominic in a black tux (Dont ask him why his dress color is black, when his favorite color is green, obviously this.is his ego.). Many times out youll see Dominic wear button up shirts and black pants, sometimes vests other times just a ties, but usually youll see him in highly polished military shoes with all his clothes. Casually youll see him in Shorts and a blank teeshirt, or various degrees of dress.
