The Wendel Corporation (WC), also known as WendelCo., was a shortlived umbrella entity that owned and managed the Bank Corellia. Although existing for generations, the Wendel Corporation was formally chartered on Year 1 Day 13 by Wester Wendel, an eccentric Corellian mogul, who was the determined grandson of industrialist Walter Wendel. Graduates and young interns of the prestigious Coronet University staffed the corporation. The staff included President Wester Wendel, Vice President Kether Möbius, and Morph Dysan, who also served as Executive Officer for the InterGalactica Lottery. As a formal entity, the organization briefly existed for five solar months — from Year 1 Day 13 to Year 1 Day 161 — before stagnating due to a galactic recession. Following its dissolution, the majority of personnel in WendelCo. transferred to other financial institutions or merchant guilds in the galaxy. (Full article...)

The Dark Star Hellions started as a small gang on Falleen Prime to counter the ruling Falleen noble houses. Created by Ximaro Jix, a rogue Falleen of his own species beliefs and culture, Ximaro recruited many other impoverished Falleen as well several relatives among them his brothers, and even his cousin Ximo Jobal. In prison, Hellions numbers would drastically increase from all races willing to join the volatile gang of miscreants. Through ryll distribution, theft, enforcing and murder and blackmail Hellions began to develop into a significant organization slowly. The expansion eventually allowed Ximaro to bring the gang out to an intergalactic level once he was released from chains. Having a reputation as violent enforcers, Ximaro began to subcontract bounty hunting and mercenary services to crime syndicate Black Sun and eventually anyone willing to pay their fees. Operation Deep Helm: Just north of Avance Coalition governed space lies the expansive Bamula sector, a diverse collection of systems united under the flag of the Mindabaal League, a corporatocracy comprised of five organizations at the time of the conflicts beginning: Drax Industries, Nakesh Alliance Extractions, The Agency, and Uukaablis Trans-Systems. At the time of the conflict, their territory spanned six known systems and was comprised of seventeen planets, with the Chairman being Phontino Friovor, and the Vice-Chairman being Ghent Kreldar. Jandur is a single-planet system, orbited by one moon between three suns. This unique astronomy caused the planet to develop a hot, toxic atmosphere, unfit for most life, unassisted. Much of the planet’s surface is dominated by large volcanic fields and seas of lava which both pump toxic gases into the atmosphere and further added to the inhospitality of Jandur. The rest of the planet is littered with craters, rocky surfaces, and caves. Sandy deserts also claim some strips of land, but there are no signs of life or safe, consumable water. (Full article...)

The Hapes Cluster is a region of space - typically regarded as a sector in its own right - situated in the Inner Rim of the Galaxy, Galactic North by Galactic East in the Slice, between the Perlemian and Trellen trade routes. It borders Neshig, Japrael and the Ktilac Regions. The sector is a grouping of several thousand stars within the nebula known as the Transitory Mists. The Mists are characterized by an assortment of massive gravity wells, ion storms, and concentrations of cosmic dust that greatly impede hyperspace travel to the region and have kept the inhabitants of the Cluster mostly isolated from the rest of the galaxy over the course of several millennia. Few hyperspace routes into the sector are considered safe to navigate, forcing travelers to enter the Cluster through either Lorell or Roqoo. (Full article...)

Maha Michi is a half-Alderaanian and half-Zeltron male born on Tython. This group of sentients was comprised of Koya Nim (Togorian female), Cirru Tan (Thyferran male), Tejar Quinn (Ryn male), Xi'Zen (Whiphid male), and Tasia Rookto (Duro female). Maha was born at the crash site before his mother passed away. Without enough strength to relay their names to the crew, she merely named the child and passed it on. During his formative years, the adoptive parents all instilled in him a part of themselves. This varied from a sense of adventure to presence of mind in dangerous situations, and navigation of ships and vehicles. He was fascinated by the stories and cultures of other races. A deep sense of curiosity flowed through him and helped to foster a desire to explore. (Full article...)

Dante Erinith, otherwise commonly known by the alias of Aegyl Seraf, is one of the only Echani currently operating publicly in the galaxy, if not the only one at all. Ostensibly born and raised on the desolate planet of Rhen Var by an Echani mother and a supposedly Mandalorian father, he adopted both cultures as he grew up, and for a long time struggled to balance the two out as he made his way in the galaxy. Upon becoming of age, he turned his attention to matters of conflict and battle, rapidly proving himself to be something of a prodigy in that arena. Raised on stories of the Galactic Empire, however, he took the earliest opportunity he could find to join up with them. While initially facing great difficulty due to his race and a lack of social graces, he eventually joined the Imperial Army, serving in a variety of capacities in the First Imperial Legion for four years. Alexander Tylger (Alexander Rai`ix Chume Tylger Pal`durath Hapesah) (born Year -36, D286) is the King of the Hapes Consortium. Originally from the planet Arxian in the Zadaria system, he ascended the Hapan throne after King James made him heir apparent in Year 10. With the abdication of James in Year 11, the Consortium observed the "Month of the Vacant Throne" before the coronation on D108 where Tylger also adopted the Pal`durath surname. He is the third male to reign as monarch in the formerly matriarchal state. Before his final rise to power, Tylger shifted between military and political life as the need arose, eventually settling in the government once and for all in Year 4. His career, both before and after this, was a turbulent one, often straining his relationship with fellow Hapan officials. Within the Hapan political circles, Tylger became a controversial figure, forming a conservative bloc along with several nobles of similar heritage. Over the years they successfully blocked the influence of foreign ideals and revolutionary ideas, keeping the Consortium on a more traditional path and earning him the nickname "Dragon of Lorell Hall." Native to the planet Csilla, the Chiss are a race that very closely resembles humans. Still, the two have significant differences, most notably in outward appearance and vocal cords. Chiss have black hair and glowing red eyes, while their skin colour ranges from pale to dark blue; it is believed that the level of oxygen in the environment influences their colouration and eye colour. They also have an increased metabolic rate, typically resulting in a lean physique with well-defined musculature. Whilst their hair was typically jet black, it did on rare occasions go grey with age which was seen amongst their females and was a sign that they had borne children that would have a significant impact on their society. Their physical form led to speculation on whether they were an offshoot of humanity's ancient expansions into the galaxy or whether their physical form coincidentally matched that of Humans. However, the genetic analysis indicated that they were an offshoot of humanity, and it was believed that moving underground led to a divergence between them and baseline Humans. Their unique skin tone was seen to be the result of glacial minerals. (Full article...)

Raan Jodus was born on the planet of Kalidonn to a warrior family. His family were forced to leave their planet around the time of the Clone Wars. Mandalorian raiders had attacked the planet, and a war between the Raiders and the Kalidonnians blossomed to the point where the planet was destroyed by a Mandalore fleet. The surviving members of Kalidonnian society fled to the stars. Over the years of space-faring, the final population of Kalidonnian warriors dwindled from conflicts with pirates and other such groups. The House of Jodus was of the few remaining warriors: Raan, several brothers, uncles, his mother and his father. On the run past the Outer Rim, his mother was flying supplies to the recent home of the Kalidonn survivors. The vessel and convoy of crafts were attacked, looted, and destroyed by a band of renegade Mandalorians. News spread to the colony, and the House of Jodus and several other warriors tracked the raiders to an uninhabited jungle planet in the Unknown Regions. The ensuing combat left no survivors except young Raan Jodus, who returned to his colony planet to find it abandoned. (Full article...)

Born in the slums of the Moridebo district on Coruscant, Greg Black-Granger was the bastard child of Anthony Black and Sharna Granger. His parents, unable to decide whose surname their child should take, decided that both surnames would be included. Thus, Greg was registered on the Coruscanti birth registry as Greg Black-Granger. With his parents' money, they booked a flight aboard an AA-9 transport to the planet Kathol. After travelling for 3 weeks, they finally arrived at their destination and joined the worker camp as they challenged the local government for living permits on the planet. During this time, his father began work on a local mine as part of the camp's worker program whilst his mother looked after the young Greg. It would take four years for the living permit to be granted, at which point Greg had already begun pre-school on the camp and the Black-Granger family expanded as Dan, Gael, Kyp and William were born. The change in the family dynamic unsettled Greg, who began misbehaving in his early years of school as the formally devoted-on child looked to receive the attention his parents once gave him. The First Galactic Civil War, or Clone Wars, was the conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Separatists forces who wished to secede from the Republic. After a costly war, the Separatists were eventually defeated as the Republic transitioned into the Galactic Empire. Tensions had been growing in the galaxy for decades. The Core Worlds had been enjoying peace and prosperity while countless systems in the Outer Rim were plagued by widespread corruption, instability, poverty. Criminal activity and petty conflicts disrupted vital trade routes and laws enforced closer to the galactic core were not enforced in the outlying sectors, leading to a what many saw as a double standard within the Republic. Furthermore, The Republic bureaucracy was growing bloated and ineffective, and was either unwilling or unable to settle these disputes. Sith agents, seeing an opportunity to seize power, approached the leadership of the Trade Federation in Year -35 and used subtle force persuasion to convince the viceroy that an attack on the planet Averam would get the attention of the senate back on Coruscant and force them to take Outer Rim matters more seriously. Federation battleships soon encircled Averam and enforced a blockade while legions of fearsome battle droids took control of the major urban centers and planetary shield and communication systems. The Ternion Corps, founded in 24 BCTG, was attached to the second sector army during the Clone Wars. Bloodied on Geonosis, Kamino and Malastare, the Corps established itself as an experienced and reliable battlefield group. The Ternion logo, an inverted arrow, originated as an NCO designation, but as the war progressed, it became a symbol of veterancy to the Clones and republic troopers who bore it. A symbol the entire Corps would earn with its long and successful service during the war. Throughout much of the war, it consisted of three divisions: the 105th Armored Division, the 9th Infantry Division, and the 18th Infantry Division. At various points during the war, the corps was also reinforced by the Squib Rangers Battalion and the Malastare Rifles. After the war, after the military disbanded, the various Ternion Corps veteran associations remained connected to each other. Uncharacteristically, the camaraderie passed down to the children and grandchildren of the veterans, officers and enlisted alike, and membership grew rather than dwindled as time passed. While most Ternion Corps local chapters are no more than mere community groups meeting monthly to commemorate and celebrate the military achievements of their elders, some believe that as a whole the umbrella organization holds potentially significant influence through their members in high places in political and industrial arenas. The Republic Protectorate of Quantxi was formed in Year 21 when the Ternion Corps took formal control of the moon Quantxi. Ever since the Galactic Civil War, Quantxi was a sparsely-populated planetoid used as a repository for space debris from around the Bright Jewel sector. In recent years the Ord Cartel, a mid-size criminal enterprise, had taken up residency on the moon, using the vast collection of leftover metal and weaponry to create fortresses from where they could safely manage their drug and sentient traffic enterprises. The moon, whose official owner had been long lost to history, was raffled off during the first annual Galactic Fest in an effort to revitalize that sector of space. Ternion Corps, being the winning party, proceeded to lay siege to the moon and eventually succeeded in eliminating the Cartel. The Republic Protectorate of Quantxi is the governing body of the moon Quantxi, and seeks to promote the welfare of Clone War veterans and their descendants and to ensure the legacy of the Grand Army of the Republic. Jawa Offworld Enterprises is a megacorporation that primarily profits through the investment in and creation of Jawa business ventures. Despite only recently having been created the business quickly rose to prominence in the galaxy, being at the center of a number of galactic events. This has been largely attributed by the group to the natural skill at conducting business possessed by the Jawa people. Ironically, the group of "off-world" Jawas has had considerable activity focused on their homeworld of Tatooine, after assuming control of the planet in mid Year 21. The origins of the Jawa Offworld Enterprises trace back to a number of different movements related to sentient rights of Jawa's and other short of stature species. Starting off with the likes of legendary Jawas Het Patchateeka, Uli-ah Gafsa, Heek Jikjawa, and Tik Tak a number of pro-Jawa initiatives were attempted with the goal of assisting Jawas who left behind their homeland of Tatooine. Loyal, intelligent, enthusiastic. These are some of the well-known traits of a Huruk-Rah, be it as a soldier, scientist, or pilot. Descended directly from the Hyorh'Mah princeship, one of the original ruling families of Falleen, this clan has rebuilt their ancestral home of Jhoust after The Great Plight. The Huruk-Rah are particularly prejudicial about their bloodlines, finding it difficult to accept new members to the clan who simply don't have the right genes or particular shade of green skin. Becoming a clan leader is incredibly difficult, and requires not only strong support from the elders but a healthy dose of pure princeship blood. Therefore, clan leadership tends to follow from parent to offspring, until the line is broken and the next strongest bloodline is found. This clan dominates in the city of Jhoust, and with strong economic control there, is able to hold sway political power equal to that of the Eu'maios. Members enjoy a great many benefits from being a part of this clans, and the Falleen government has had to be especially watchful of high level members of the Huruk-Rah giving privilege to any of their less fortunate clansmen. The Huruk-Rah realize that the Federation has brought the Falleen nation a long way from its days of competing tribes, but they will always remember what might have been had the Huruk-Rah bloodline continued to dominate the planet. The Battle for Derra IV was a conflict during the Second Galactic Civil War, as both the Galactic Alliance and Imperial Union tried to restore peace to Derra IV after an outbreak of two dangerous viruses on the planet. It officially lasted from Day 1 to Day 176 of Year 14, but its aftermath rippled throughout the galaxy for the rest of the year. It was codenamed Operation Peacekeeper by the Galactic Alliance and Operation Sovereign Canopy by the Imperial Union. Just after the fourteenth galactic standard year began, news broke of a growing tragedy in the Expansion Region. Virologists reported the discovery of a dangerous disease on the world of Derra IV. First observed in the tropical rainforests of the planet, the virus affected the parts of the nervous system that controlled anger, adrenaline, and fight-or-flight responses. By the time of its discovery, the virus had been transmitted between many different species of non-sentient animals, and to this day researchers debate its original host. Infected creatures were observed exhibiting increased aggression, territorial behavior, and a lack of inhibitions, leading them to attack anything in sight without regard for their own safety. The Siege of Kalee was an attempt in Year 16 by the Trade Federation to eliminate a Kaleesh insurgency and restore order to the planet in the midst of the Great Merge. It ended when the Trade Federation turned over control of Kalee to the Kolkpravis mercenary force. The Avance Coalition was once the most prosperous economy in the Mid Rim and one of the largest economies in the Galaxy. The Coalition was hit hard by the Galactic Recession and its leaders debated furiously over how to best keep the sectors under their control from total collapse. Late in Year 15 fear and uncertainty spread throughout the Coalition. Kalee had always been a difficult planet to govern because of the warlike Kaleesh inhabitants. Many Kaleesh nationalists took advantage of the fear and confusion and began to smuggle in propaganda, weapons, and experienced insurgent warriors, inevitably leading to the Siege of Kalee. In regards to the origins of Thrall Lothbrok, little is known other than that he is the clone of a man who died several thousand years ago, cloned during the days of the old republic for the purposes of waging war - initially against the Mandalorians and then later the Sith Empire during the Jedi Civil War. Upon his unit's return to their creator an unspecified time later, they were placed in cryogenic stasis with the intention of re-awakening them in the near future for another purpose. They were never awoken, however, and the clones degraded over thousands of years of stasis. The outpost was discovered and unearthed early in Year 13 by a band of freelance explorers, eager to discover a new planet. Before they could report their discovery to the galaxy at large, however, they awoke the clones from their cryostasis. Degraded and maddened, the clones reportedly attacked and killed the explorers before turning on each other in a bloody and brutal battle. Of all those involved in the ensuing bloodbath, only one clone survived: Clone 2295. (Full article...)

House Kaine is a Human family of Hapan origin, most well known for its role in modern Imperial history, the creation of the Reansucru faith, and its present allegiance to Black Sun. The family's reputation began with the militaristic success of Augustus Kaine, and spread to the general financial prosperity of his heirs. With the emergence of the Second Galactic Civil War, the family suffered a temporary fall in influence before regaining their reputation via the current generation. Although decisions are ultimately made by Archon Caelius, any House inquiries are handled by the family advisors. It is unknown what roles are played by other House members. Historically xenophobic, the House's human speciest beliefs have tempered greatly under Archon Kyran Caelius. (Full article...)

Most, if not all, records of Dain Vel Iblis's birth and early years of his life have been destroyed by the massive civil war that erupted on Comra a few days after he was born. Nothing is known of his relatives, with exception to Dain's personal recollection of his mother, Catherine Wagner. Rebel-funded and supported insurgents fought the Imperial-aligned planetary government throughout the entire planet of Comra, causing millions of non-combatant casualties and displacing billions. Dain's mother was one of those displaced refugees, unable to escape the planet due to the lock-down of off-world travel by the insurgents and the Atomic technology level of the planet. As Imperial evacuation efforts were targeted and halted by terrorist attacks, the only method of off-world evacuation was desperately begging or bribing off Rebel-brought mercenaries and smugglers. And the likelihood of lawless contractors bothering with any of the refugees, with the exception of exploiting them, was nill.
Dain Vel Iblis was born as Spencer Wagner on Year -12 Day Unknown CGT on the war-torn planet of Comra, being later adopted into the Vel Iblis family. He is a professional mercenary by trade, specializing in unconventional strategies and tactics for mechanized and armoured warfare. He served for a short stint in the Galactic Empire, before retiring due to personal reasons and later on, pursuing his personal political and economic endeavors. He spent short periods of times with various groups, such as Endless Endeavors, Veilhal Nomands, and Tresario Star Kingdom. Dain is currently searching for Nerfs to herd. (Full article...)

Vel Koon was found as a small child, the only survivor amongst a small freighter wreckage. A group of scavengers, led by an individual known as Diago, looted the ship and its cargo and took Vel as a slave. Unlike most typical experiences, Vel's experience in servitude was overall positive. Diago, though a crude individual at times, revealed himself to be quiet virtuous, and treated Vel warmly and kindly. The two developed a sort of uncle-nephew relationship, in which Diago took much of Vel's upbringing on himself.
Not long after, Diago and his clan found their new home on the planet of Corvanni Three. The planet was on the outskirts, beyond much governmental control or regulation, leaving it as a prime location for most individuals who desired to stay away from the law. The planet was also a large attraction for outsiders, hosting a wide variety of Arena Tournaments, placing contestants in matches testing their phyiscal bran against one another. These gladiator-type events quickly gained popularity, and quickly made Corvanni Three a hot-spot of activity amidst the sector. (Full article...)

Headquartered in the Gree star system and operating out of the Northern Outer Rim Territories, Gree maintained a neutral political stance that enabled it to seamlessly cross political borders in its quest for profit and expansion. Regularly investing in new business ventures while improving its current operations, the conglomerate partnered with a number of various corporations and organizations to build and strengthen business relationships and increase its operational efficiency. They were able to gain control of the Argovia, Fokask and Manda systems through a business deal with the Mando'ade. These expansions saw their business operations grow with each new territory, eventually leading to the board of directors giving the Gree Mining Authority. (Full article...)

John Bourne is an artificially-modified Corellian entrepreneur, and the Director of Intelligence in The Resistance. Despite having come from a privileged family where he would be comfortable in the Galactic Empire, John found it difficult to obey all that was expected of him and scarpered for a life elsewhere in the galaxy. He spent many years as a petty thief working contracts in the outer reaches of the galaxy before he was arrested and subsequently recruited (due to his unique skills) into the rebellion. Aside from his professional responsibilities, John (like his brother Michael) is a successful billionaire socialite, trader, womanizer, and is an avid hunter and motorcycle/swoop enthusiast. Tex Navos was a Kuati with a troubled nature. Despite the promise of a blossoming childhood, neglect from her parents meant her life would go down a different path. Instead of living in the Imperial realm as her parents would have wanted, she turned to a life of an unsavoury nature. Mixing with criminal crowds and developing drug addictions, her childhood was not a normal one. As she grew throughout her teenage years she began to tame herself, but still embraced her rebel nature. As time passed she found ways to use her skills and beauty for her own personal gain, running small syndicates and raids throughout the Inner Regions of space. After several years of incarceration, she began to start embracing rebellion while enhancing her image in the business world. Such nature helped Tex get what she wanted, while remaining out of the law enforcement radar. Working with close friend and confidant Lilith Delcroix, she joined Dark Skies Gearworks and worked on the administration of the recycling business until its closing. While the legitimate nature of the company may have strained Tex and tempted her to return to a previous life, that eventual return only met Tex with death by her own hand in a haze of drugs and alcohol towards the end of the fourteenth galactic year. The New Imperial Order (NIO) was a key belligerent in the Third Imperial Civil War which lasted from Year 6 Day 318 to Year 10 Day 160. The movement coalesced when Imperial officers and enlisted personnel frustrated with the incompetent reign of Grand Moff Daelin Zerk broke away from the Galactic Empire and formed a rival government. Led by Garen Karrade and Thomas Cherokee, the New Imperial Order was, in their opinion at least, the embodiment of the true Galactic Empire and the true Imperial Spirit it encompasses. Headquartered in the Kothlis system, they had the long term goal of returning the Imperial throne to competent leadership and establishing a new dynasty of the Imperial Order. After almost four years of conflict, a reconciliation was negotiated between Emperor Vodo Bonias' Galactic Empire and Thomas Cherokee's New Imperial Order. The two governments were merged on Year 10 Day 160. Two years thereafter, during the Fourth Imperial Civil War, Thomas Cherokee usurped Bonias' throne as emperor of the galaxy. (Full article...)

It is unknown when, or if, Orphaea Imperium was 'born'. It is known that he was a subject of a project commenced during the early years of Emperor Drayson's reign to develop superior leaders for the Empire by the manipulation and splicing of genetic material taken from promising young leaders of the time, from which all members of the Imperium family hail. Unsubstantiated reports exist that Orphaea's formal designation during this time was Subject O-Beta. When the project was shut down during Emperor Spytek's reign, Orphaea, like the rest of the subjects of the project, had their memories of their time erased and false memories of families and normal childhood experienced implanted in their place. The Battle of Beta was a major flashpoint in the ongoing Galactic Civil War in which Emperor Uebles' Galactic Empire grappled with King Kuraine's Falleen Federation for control of the Beta system. Prior to the battle, Kuraine had enticed Imperial Moff Vir Calder to defect to his Falleen kingdom and to abscond with the Imperial Star Destroyer Shadowstone. This theft provoked the Imperial High Command to mobilize their forces and to invade the Beta system with a colossal force commanded by Grand Admiral Black Lodge. Shortly before their invasion, the Empire was contacted by Prince Tholin Dur'aak, a Falleen noble, who offered to betray Kuraine. Thus, with Dur'aak's assistance, Kuraine and his consort were slain by Sith Lords — notably Adric Simms and Thraken Solo — while aboard the Shadowstone's bridge. With Kuraine assassinated, the Empire moved to secure the Beta system. Ultimately, Lord Admiral Bisz Aldaris of the Falleen Navy could not stem the tide of invading Imperial vessels and undertook a strategic withdrawal from the system. After the battle, the Empire systematically exterminated all life-forms on the planets Ul Yanin and Ulrike which resulted in casualties ranging from 103 million to 1.5 billion sentients. Overall, the demise of the Falleen monarch, the destruction of the Libra battle station, and the genocide of Falleen colonists made this event a defining moment in the early years of the galactic civil war. The Imperial Union is an official alignment of great powers in the ongoing Second Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Alliance. The alignment began circa Year 7 Day 334 - 336 with a defensive military pact between the Galactic Empire and the Hapes Consortium, although its origins could be informally traced to a non-aggression pact signed on Year 4 Day 334 between Emperor Uebles and King James I. For much of its life, the Union consisted of the Galactic Empire, Hapes Consortium, Mandalore, Trade Federation, Tion Hegemony, and Aurodium Legion. However, circa Year 13, internal disagreements arose between various states regarding the further evolution of the alliance. While there was an aversion to disbanding the Imperial Union completely, some governments would not agree to sign a new charter without having unlimited access to the Empire's technology. Unable to come to a resolution amenable to all parties, the majority of the Union resigned from the charter on Year 13 Day 300. Weeks later, on Year 13 Day 326, the Imperial Union was reformed with an improved charter that addressed deficiencies in its previous iteration. The initial signatories were a tripartite bloc that consisted of the Galactic Empire, Black Sun, and the Tresario Star Kingdom. Year 14 Day 184 saw the Anzatan Commonwealth, formerly a neutral power in the galactic conflict, join the the Union, aptly demonstrating how much Anzatan-Imperial relations had improved since the reign of the von Ismays. House Ismay is a prosperous and widely-known political dynasty and royal house. The family purportedly originated from Coruscant in the distant past where an early patriarch obtained the peerage of Count. In recent years, the family gained widespread prominence under Moff Victor von Ismay XVI during his decorated service in the Galactic Empire. Despite Victor's grisly murder by Teniel Djo of the Eidola Pirates, the wealth and influence of the family nevertheless increased with the ascension of Victor's eldest son, Wilhelm von Ismay, as ruler of the New Anzat Order circa Year 9. Following Wilhelm's assassination by his consort Queen Keishi Miahr, several heirs of House Ismay denounced the latter monarch as a usurper and asserted their claim to be the rightful rulers of the Anzatan Commonwealth. The Hapes Consortium is an absolute monarchy holding dominion over a relatively small sector of space known as the Hapes Cluster, situated in the Inner Rim. The Consortium maintained strict isolationism as a core principle for several millennia, shunning contact with outsiders since it was first founded by the female descendants of the Lorell Raiders. This allowed a distinct culture to develop, steeped in traditions that Hapans hold in high esteem even to this day. Following a bloody civil war that caused the near-collapse of their economy and revolutionized aspects of Hapan society, gradual contact with the galaxy outside their borders was re-established over the course of several decades. Having rebuilt its society, economy, military, and industrial capacity, the Consortium has become a somewhat reluctant, yet arguably significant, player in galactic politics. Led by King Alex Tylger, the government maintains a non-expansionist stance, seeking to balance tradition and cultural preservation with its new-found responsibilities as a major power in the galaxy. The backdrop of the Battle of Kashyyyk was the Second Galactic Civil War, specifically the battle between the Rebel Alliance (which was at Year 8 Day 12 part of the New Republic), and the Galactic Empire. According to the Galactic News Service, Wookiees were repressed on Kashyyyk under the government of the Galactic Empire, which prevented the indigenous Wookiees to hunt, build and live their traditional cultural and indigenous existence. Although such abuses were reported, the Galactic Empire always maintained that they were treating the Wookiees fairly. However, it is widely accepted that there was a repression of the indigenous Wookiees on Kashyyyk before the Battle of Kashyyyk. The Battle of Meridian (known as the Meridian Campaign or Krazny Oktobyr by Imperials) was the expulsion of Renegade Inc forces from the Meridian sector by the Galactic Empire. Mid Year 9, Imperial Executor Arturus Goth was approached by Aay Zavos, a commander of Renegade Inc. Zavos claimed to represent a number of Renegade personnel who had grown weary of leader Roy Starkiller's supposed lack of communication or direction. Zavos proposed to Goth that he plant transmitters on Renegade planets and outposts then unknown to the Empire, revealing their location and thus their development to the Empire. Goth directed Moff Orphaea Imperium to coordinate this project. The preparatory stage lasted several months, during which Imperium and Zavos made detailed observations of Renegade locations and patrol routes. In order for any invasion to succeed, Navy forces would have to infiltrate the sector and the planets within without attracting attention from Renegade forces, requiring them to arrive at precise locations at specific times. The Federation, which initially gained galactic prominence as a monopolistic trading empire, was rebuilt on the foundations of honor, integrity and profit. It has always maintained those foundations, striving to hold its members to the lofty goals that come with such a motto. Although dominated for most of its early history by Neimoidians, the Trade Federation now welcomes recruits from all races and walks of life. The Federation is one of the most talented and diverse organizations in the galaxy, and those qualities are reflected in high profits and high salaries for the entire government. The Federation has a long history of technological achievement, and is fully committed to innovation, technological progress and implementation of new ideas. In addition to this, the Federation is still steeped in its commercial roots, delivering basic and luxury goods to billions of clients galaxy-wide and generating prosperity for its citizens on dozens of planets. Azarin Isard was a very young Wookiee of unknown origin whose career has spanned several organizations. Like all Wookiees he is unable to speak Basic, and so to interact with the wider galaxy he is escorted by a modified BD-3000 protocol droid named "Tink". The modification created by Azarin was to give Tink a secondary voice distinct from her own, to make it clear when she was translating. This other voice is Azarin's best attempt to make a clear voice which is easy to understand, yet still sounds largely similar to how a Wookiee would sound if their vocal cords allowed them to pronounce basic. During the Metamorphosis Plague caused by the Derra Virus, Azarin Isard became an Anzati. Some theorise this change was caused by his proximity to Anzati on a daily basis by this has not been confirmed. His hair continued to be bright reddy brown, like his fur was and he continued to have issues with his right eye which led to him opting to wear a monocle. He also underwent a successful cybernetic operation which replaced his arms with enhanced cyborg alternatives. (Full article...)

His current positions include Chief Magistrate of the Corporate Alliance, leader of Haven Recycling Corporation and Overlord of the Nautolan Society. Gorn Veynom is a former Imperial Grand Admiral and contender for the throne of the Galactic Empire, and once spiritual leader and titular Emperor of the Imperial Core. The career of Gorn Veynom in the Empire is closely linked to the European Division, which was created by Colonel Rahvin. Veynom soon became the leader of the naval division, the famous 3rd Recon and Strike Fleet (later 2nd Imperial Fleet). During this time, Veynom became concerned about the policy of rapprochement under Emperor Spytek; a policy which he felt would only weaken the Empire. When Spytek stepped down as Emperor, Veynom contended for the Imperial throne. Very soon another contender stepped into the ring: Trey Connel, who was CO of the Imperial Army back then. As it was easy to see that a prolonged civil war would harm the Empire, Grand Admiral Piett decided to use his superior military strength to end the war before it began. (Full article...)

The Galactic Empire, also known as the New Order, is the successor of the Galactic Republic and arguably the legitimate government of the galaxy, currently concentrated around the Core regions and the Corporate Sector. It is recognised as one of the most militarily capable and economically dominant governments of the galaxy. It is an absolute non-hereditary monarchy, ruled by the Emperor with the support of his advisers. The Executor serves as second-in-command of the Empire and heir apparent of the Emperor, acting on behalf of the Emperor when the latter is absent or incapacitated. The Executor serves directly under the Emperor and is considered part of the Throne. The early history of the Galactic Empire, while relatively recent on a galactic scale, is largely undocumented. As the fortunes of individuals and groups have changed in the Empire, and Emperors themselves risen and fallen, historical documents have been altered, misplaced or outright destroyed. Much of what remains is lacking, and has been pieced together with what remnants, poorly sourced and often blatantly propagandist, remain from those years. (Full article...)

Chunbacca Khan was discovered on the warm planet of Taakarroo as a small child. Abandoned and alone, with no parental input, he was forced to learn the ways of the galaxy, before undertaking the adulthood ritual on Kashyyyk. Taking a role in the Trade Federation government, commencing as a administrator, the Wookiee excelled in the ways of government and was appointed as the Mayor of Vinsoth. As the Trade Federation created plans to incorporate the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Chunbacca rose further up the government hierarchy to be special advisor and aide to the Viceroy and the Cabinet. While plans were set in motion for him to assume the role of Viceroy, Chunbacca suffered a ship malfunction while in the Si`Klaata Cluster on a diplomatic envoy, sending him to his death in the Klatoo Sun. The Hutt Council, also known as the Grand Hutt Council, was a trading conglomerate and an Imperial suzerainty that existed from Year 3 Day 81 to Year 5 Day 347. Its origins trace back to the decadent age of the Old Republic when the Hutts controlled a dangerous swath of the galaxy between the Mid Rim and the Outer Rim Territories. The Council controlled the region by overseeing the activities of the Hutt clans — kajidics — and their business syndicates. Their capital was located in the Y'toub system and was called Nal Hutta. Following centuries of decline, the Council was reborn on Year 3 Day 81 by Angobba Desilijic Lucar. During the Second Imperial Civil War that ravaged the galaxy circa Year 3, the Hutt Council was a key ally of Emperor Charon's Galactic Empire and — under the auspices of Grand Admiral Black Lodge and Director Matrel Byden — the Council played a prominent role in Charon's campaign to exterminate Warlord Vodo Bonias' Dark Empire. In the eyes of Warlord Bonias, it was contemptible that a humanocentric regime such as Charon's Empire should publicly align itself with a criminal syndicate of Hutts. (Full article...)
