Background

Founded by Mouse Woodlake on Year 13 Day 222, the Galactic Rescue Ops is a free service devoted to picking up young sentients stranded on a backwater planet and getting them to where they want to go: an organization's headquarters, a ship they own, or any other specific case. This charity is designed to help people get oriented in this galaxy and remove the initial obstacles to personal growth.
On the 1st day of Year 14, this charity became a fully-fledged transportation company with the valuable addition of people such as Tahkee Noie (Woodlake's long-term friend), Alyva Roscoe (friend), and trusted corporate personnel.

Galactic Rescue Ops has publicly stated that they are striving to become the number one passenger transportation business from here to the Outer Rim.

Passenger Safety Rules

Galactic Rescue Ops has devised Terms of Service in order to assure the safety of its clients. A copy of the TOS is as follows:

  • GRO is a neutral entity and thus we cater for any sides of the war without prejudice or exceptions.
  • UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will we announce who we have on board.
  • The crewlist will ALWAYS be empty.
  • Passengers will only be picked up one at a time unless the other passengers(s) are happy with the new passenger to come aboard.
  • If the passenger has any reason not to trust the GRO's pilot, GRO can makeover a S-Swoop that would be made over to the passenger so they can sit in the speeder for the duration of the ride. The S-Swoop must be made back over to GRO once the destination has been reached and the passenger has safely exited so that another person can use it.
  • GRO will not accept any Bounty Hunters or Mercenaries on-board our ships EVER for obvious reasons. If the passenger in need of a lift is being hunted or have an active bounty on them, we will consider each case as it come. Our safety is as important as our passengers, we wouldn't want to jeopardise our lives or GRO.
  • Due to the presence of Black Holes near Dorin, we will not be able to pick up any Kel-Dor unless they relocate to another planet.
  • No ELBs or Stun Cuffs to be used for the duration of the flight please.
  • For obvious reasons, hypertravel will never be aborted, for any reason.
  • Please don't take anything from our ship (other than the free goodybag). The ship has all our belongings on it - We wouldn't want any of it to go missing!
