The Duchy of Tolonda is the ruling dominion of the Tolonda Sector. Its leader is Archduke Uther Von Kaldreon. The Infinite Empire was renamed the Duchy of Tolonda on Year 18 Day 38.
History
The Duchy of Tolonda is a nation with deep roots in the galaxies galactic history. The Duchy of Tolonda is home to the last known trading hub that services the outer rim trade routes in the known galaxy. While trade flourished in the region outsides sources began to take interest and lead incursions into the region. The Archduke called on the services of Duke Corey Vildras and Margrave Adin Cole to defend the region from these intruders and keep the trade flowing through this area while the Duchy expands.
The Duchy is comprised of three systems (Tamra,Oshora,Krmar) within its realm of Tolonda. While one realm is currently contested it is still observed and considered the territory of the Duchy. The Duchy of Tolonda works alongside that of the Galactic Alliance on a active basis to ensure all are granted peace and prosperity in life. Those who live within the Duchy or the Galactic Alliance can be rest assured they will be protected and guided through life.
Government Organization
In the Duchy of Tolonda, the realm is controlled by a small council of lords and ladies who oversee the daily operations of the entire realm. The Royal council ensure the growth of the whole Duchy and the prosperity of its people as they rule. At the head of the council and with complete control of the entire Duchy of Tolonda is the Archduke. Archduke Uther Von Kaldreon bestows management and protection of systems to trusted Dukes and military Margraves. These Dukes are responsible for system administration and managing the Counts and Barons within their demesne. Counts and Barons of the council control planetary administration or other special administration assignments.

Branches
Sacred Shields
The military branch of the Duchy, the Sacred Shields protect the people and territory of the Duchy from internal and external threats. During peacetime, they assist in grand projects to enrich the lives of the citizens and sector development. Shields can be found in command centers and aboard every ship within the Grand Duchy Military

Whispered Scrollkeepers
Scrollkeepers assist the Royal Council in managing the vast territory of the Duchy and managing diplomatic contacts from outside that territory. Additionally, they assist in record keeping and ensuring the other members receive the information they need to complete their work. Members of this department can be found in capital buildings, embassies, and archives. Scrollkeepers wear a cloak fastened to their uniform with a scrollkeeper pin.
