-ARK- is a independent, rebel aligned government that controls several Outer Rim sectors and systems, with the majority of these territories located in the south-east portion of the Galaxy. The government is run on the ideals of a meritocracy, where individuals can find success because of their abilities, not because of their money or social position, and have full citizenship no matter their species or race.

The group has a long history, with its roots running deep into many factions that have chosen to take up arms against the tyranny of the Galactic Empire and the Imperial Union. -ARK- is a strong supporter and member of the Galactic Alliance, which is made up of like minded groups that have chosen the path of rebellion, and stands alongside the Rebel Alliance and other rebel aligned governments and groups in their fight for liberty and justice.

History

Many different organisations have contributed their culture, infrastructure, expertise and knowledge to the collective that formed the -ARK- government in Year 21. Despite having a somewhat complicated origin, it is generally held that -ARK-'s main linage follows that of the "Arkanian" branded companies that have existed since Year 8 in various forms.
