The Battle of Altor was a battle fought between Imperial Union Members Havoc Squad, Chiss Ascendancy and Faerytail Family and Total Outer Rim. Imperial Union Forces began assaulting the research satellite network of the newly discovered Altor system [1] on Year 27 Day 159, 16:51. The five hour long space battle commenced early on Day 161, involving numerous numerous frigates and starfighters on both sides. The result was a decisive tactical victory for Total Outer Rim, successfully holding the system against the assaulting Imperial Union forces.
Prelude
In Day 159, the Imperial Union starts killing Total Outer Rim satellites in the Altor system. An Imperial Union Kaloth-class is shot into deep hull by Total Outer Rim forces. The Imperial Union continued to harass the Altor Research Satellite grid until Day 161. Until then, eight research satellites were killed and the Chiss Expeditionary Defense Fleet disabled one of these prior to destruction. The aggression against Altor came at the expense of six Imperial Union Delta Escort shuttles, that were lost in a small skirmish with local repair engineer teams.
The Battle
In a space battle lasting five hours, Total Outer Rim secures a decisive victory over aggressing Imperial Union forces. [2]

Aftermath
On Day 163, IU forces landed a strike team on Altor 14. The Dark Side adepts Rhan Komo and Magnus Ironside rampaged across Altor 14 with blind and relentless hatred, spreading fear and terror among its inhabitants. On Day 164, TOR destroyed a Faerytail Toscan Squadron intruding into the system. On Day 165, IU forces attempted an ambush on a TOR Corona class frigate, but were ultimately forced to retreat from the system. The arrival of Rebellion reconaissance forces is rumoured while the system defences are completing. [3]
