It was a historic merger of a scale the galaxy had never before seen, one that promised to form a united front for freedom and topple the Empire’s reign of tyranny. Following the wake of the government merger, it was decided to similarly merge two affiliated medical companies into a single, united organisation for the New Republic: the Rebel Alliance's [[Liberty Medical Center]], and [[Riviera Medical]] of the SoroSuub Conglomerate. This organisation would provide medical care and services to all the citizens of the New Republic, as well as offer aid and comfort throughout the galaxy to all who needed them, especially those under the thumb of the [[Galactic Empire]]. Republic Medical was officially established with [[Miko Niepe]] as its first CEO.

Liberty Medical Center was founded in the dawn of the Old Republic out of several major planetary medical organisations. From that beginning it started to work under the code of “free, direct and optimal care for everybody in need” to overcome socio-economic, bureaucratic and even racial-hierarchic barriers.
"With our roots traced to Year 0, we are the oldest established medical organisation in existence. RepMed as it is known today was born of a merger between Liberty Medical Centre and Riviera Medical in Year 8. The historical successes of both groups provided a solid foundation for RepMed to develop into a multi-speciality practice, bringing together an intellectually, clinically and technologically integrated network of professionals to help meet the New Republic and the Galactic Alliance’s healthcare needs. We draw upon the greatest minds in medical community: Kaminoan, Thyferran, Ithorian, Polis Massan, Vratrix, and many others.


The gathered medical knowledge about different species was most beneficial to the citizens of the Old Republic and enabled Liberty Medical Center to become a very capacious and efficient health care organisation.
Services we provide include medical care and support, construction and management of hospitals, and search and rescue operations. We carry the technology to produce the entire range of galactically-available medical items, droids, and ships. Cutting-edge production systems and innovative supply chain management have enabled us to offer the most competitive pricing present on the market.


The shared science between all races grew tremendously with LMC’s increasing progress and subsequent reputation; soon Liberty Medical Center was able to compile its first edition of the ever growing Races Compendium, which itself stores specific medical data on a high and constantly updated level for public access to ensure the best care for every being in the galaxy.
Our Medical Academy has a reputation for training medical professionals, including medics, nurses, and Doctors of Medicine, to the highest standards; many members of the New Republic and the Galactic Alliance have earned their accreditation through us.


Liberty Medical Center continously expanded throughout the galaxy and thus built its capable network for medical support and operations – until the Empire began to putsch the republic system and established its tyranny shortly thereafter.
Our Operations Department manages the famed Republic Medical Surgical Units (RMSUs), fleets of fully-equipped Mobile Hospitals and Medlifters crewed by trained personnel to respond to any incident wherever it occurs.


During the Civil War, on Year 3 Day 1, an improved “active policy” was established by President Dash Raltar and Vice President Edge. During the historic combined operation From the Ashes, Liberty Medical Center became the first organisation to set foot on Beta-System and affirm its ability to provide health care where it was needed galaxywide. A necessary restructuring, introduced by CEO Jahu Skyla in Year 4, and continued by CEO Samweis one year later, enabled Liberty Medical Center to face the changed political situation and adopt new methods for support and care in the current galaxy.
Our other equally-important Departments are staffed by and are always in need of sales and production managers, architects and engineers, prospectors, researchers, pilots. No matter your skills or interests, we’ll have a place for you and welcome you to be a part of something worthwhile and meaningful.


Finally the Empire began to constrict the Liberty Medical network. It further invaded Thyferra (Year 5 Day 187) and started to enslave the native Vratix, forcing them to embargo and blockade access to the all-important Alazhi which is the basis for Bacta, a unique and necessary health source.

By the foundation of the “Bacta-council”, Liberty Medical Center established and ensured a continued medical support for the galaxy even without the Thyferran resources. Liberty Medical Center remained as the only non-beneficial medical organisation in the galaxy, dedicated to assist and intervene in tragic events (e.g. Mon Calamari Catastrophe – Year 6 Day 28) and countless other Civil War incidents. It stood as a bastion of hope for local citizens, factions and governments, who supported its ideals and condemned the actions and tyranny of the Empire.
We bring hope to those across the galaxy whose survival is threatened by armed conflict, violence, tyranny or catastrophe. We enhance the vitality and functional capabilities of all who desire a better life, regardless of race or religion.

RepMed is considered the Health department of the New Republic's Ministry of Trade and Industry, reporting to the Minister of Trade and Industry. As RepMed is a nationalised subsidiary of the NR, all members of RepMed are accorded citizenship of the New Republic, as per the Constitution of the New Republic.


In the Three-hundred and Fifty-fourth day of the Fourth year of the new calendar, three individuals cemented the bond of mutual honour and respect that was born of their personal struggles, their highest regard for one another, and a shared vision to forge a new path; to create a new dawn out of the darkness. It was on this auspicious date that Ezekiel, a Noghri of clan Ru’tki, Titanes Keano, a Wookiee of Kashyyyk, and Keibak Aruu, a Human born of the noble and greatly respected Aruu family, formed Riviera Medical.

The Executive Staff is responsible for overseeing all the functional, financial, and strategic operations of the company, and represent RepMed in its dealings with external parties:


Riviera Medical began as just another struggling faction in a sea of fierce competition, desperately trying to provide the greatly needed health care and medicines to a galaxy devastated by years of conflict and revolution. It was a monumental effort to establish the alazhi farms, develop and bring on line the bacta production facilities, and assemble a fleet of freighters, ambulance, and hospital ships to bring their products and services to those in need. The difficulty of this amazing undertaking was intensified by the constant need to defend the fledgling enterprise against corrupt government officials, ruthless profiteers, greedy rivals, and heartless individuals who sought advantage through the sufferings of others.

Ezekiel, Titanes and Keibak nurtured Riviera Medical with their wise and caring leadership, iron-willed courage and commitment, and selfless contributions of their personal resources; as time progressed, their efforts finally caused their common dream to bear fruit. Riviera Medical had established itself as a beacon of hope in galaxy where there had been only despair. The name Riviera Medical had become synonymous with compassion, tolerance, and healing throughout the many far flung sectors, systems, and planets of the galaxy that previously had known only hatred, bigotry, and suffering. The sign of the shimmering blood cross, piercing the darkness that obscured the sun, became the banner of salvation to plague victims, war refugees, those fleeing natural disasters, and any others who suffered regardless of their race, creed or world of origin. Riviera Medical was now not just the newest, but the most dynamic and egalitarian medical faction in the galaxy.
The Executive Staff, together with the Director and Associate Directors of the various departments, are collectively referred to as 'Management'.  


After Riviera Medical had split into several factions to become more self-sufficient, Riviera Medical was sold to bring in more funds. It was, sadly, sold to the wrong people who began using Riviera’s good name to mislead and steal from others. Ezekiel could not bear to see the fruit of his work be used for such twisted means. After managing to buy back Riviera Medical, he set off to clear its name and bring it back to where it belonged. Riviera Medical joined the SoroSuub Conglomerate shortly afterwards, moving its base of operations to Tartillian and merging their resources to become more efficient than ever before.
